-I met two very nice women in the autograph lines at the National when i went a couple years ago, Chicago. So, yeah, there are at least 2. And they both really like Cal Ripken, Jr. for some reason.

I know, i was as shocked as you. They were honest-to-goodness females. All parts intact. Totally weird.

lobo_hacker, surprised this is a big deal when 'Bronies' are a thing

My girlfriend collects cards. She has a Rangers PC. At least once a week she will text me at work and says lets get some boxes to bust after work. It makes collecting a lot more fun since shes involved.

Good lord. I am a woman. And a criminal defense attorney. If you want to have a real kidnapping kit you need zip ties.

I was inspired by the TV Commercial for Farmersonly.com (real matchmaking site for farmers and country folk) so I am going to pull the trigger on purchasing the rights to femalecardcollectorsonly.com to be the ultimate matchmaker. Whadda ya think?

as a side-note: I read plenty of threads from collectors with male-like names that could easily be mistaken for a female because of the sheer amount of whining they do.

My now wife gave me an MLB Showdown starter pack as a birthday present They were the first cards I ever owned. She then told me it was possible to buy additional cards on this wonderful site called ebay. So I bought a case. Nowadays, she rolls her eyes as soon as I mention cards. It's her own fault though!

My wife and son both open cards with me sometimes, however, I'm sad to say that my wife says she pretty much hates baseball ... because of me having it on all the time. Oh well ... opposites attract!

If you're in the NY area, hit up either the WP or Hofstra shows. You'll see Sharon and her lez sidekick doing some wheelin' and dealing on prospects, etc. She's a hottie!

I guess that adds a second thing a wife is smiling about when she comes down the aisle. The first is that she has given head for the last time, but I never would have suspected the second was no longer having to open sportscards with her man.

Mine too, she's DREADING the season starting. Between me watching it, messing with cards, and messing with my dynasty fantasy baseball team, she gets sick of it pretty quick
