Default Looking for a set to build

I like to build little sets when my PC is at a stand still. I am at that point again. There are a few stipulations though cause I don't end up with tons of time to focus on them.

1. The set must be 30 cards or less. I usually do a small auto set (on card), a nice relic set, or a nice insert set.

2. There can't be too many hard chase cards. I like a few though of course.

3. Must be some what affordable. No cards that will run me $100+.

Here are some examples of others I have done or am working on.

Let's here some great suggestions. I'll send a free $10 prospect auto to whoever suggests a set I decide to build.

A guy showed me 6 of the 2001 MVP Souvenirs Batting Gloves. I may try that but wanna here more suggestions.

Samples of what I like. I'm still working on these so if you have some let me know.

You can do the 2012 Bowman FuturesGame Jumbo Patch /25. They look awesome and some sell for as little as 30 (there will be some expensive ones, though, but for good reason).

EDIT

Sorry, I though you said must be numbered to 30 or less, I'm not sure how many cards are in this set.

i may be the only one thinking this, but you seem to have an odd flair to your collection.

why not try and do the relic and auto'd set of Topps Chipz. i know it sounds silly, but it might be one of the cooler and more interestingly different sets topps has ever tried. it should be pretty innexpensive as Buster Posey has the most valuable auto'd chipz.

2003 Leaf Maple and Ash - 15 bat piece cards serial #ed to 400 each. Shouldn't be too hard to complete and they look nice. Solid player checklist also.

This has peeked my interest for sure. I still need a set for now but this is great for in a few months.

I generally avoid bat and jersey and go more for odd ball like base, batting glove, patch etc. This is a nice little set though and not too rough to chase I doubt. I wish it had one or two harder cards. It's for sure on my list to consider at the moment. Thanks!

Not sure if you need the set to depict MLB players or not, but if not, the 2012 Gypsy Queen "Gypsy King" inserts are pretty sweet looking. There are (3) 12-card sets...Gypsy King inserts, Gypsy King relics, and Gypsy King autos. You could collect just one of the 3, or all 3 sets (although that would be 36 total cards, not 30 or less). It's a very attractive design and all the cards seem to be pretty affordable. The only drawback is that if you are looking for MLB player names on the cards, you won't get that here. Instead, you'll get cool names like "Aladar the Cruel" and "Zoran Marko."

I've seen 4 of these and tried to deal for them. Although I must say I don't know why, haha. It's a nice looking set.

I dont think they go for an insane amount of money, but either the 2011 tribute dual patch set or the 2012 tribute tribute to the stars auto set

I grab most on card tribute autos when the price is right anyway. Not looking to build that one though. Thanks for the input though.

Do the 2000 Yankee Legends legendary lumber GU set. Only the Ruth & Mantle are expensive, and I got them both under $100.

This is the complete set (30/30):

I agree and I grab some from time to time but can't afford to tackle the set I doubt.

1999 upper deck century legends epic signatures would be one I'd recommend. I believe there is around 30 of them.

im about half way through the 2000 ud legendary signatures set. I believe there are just shy of 40, my most expensive one so far was the griffey jr which was about 70$. There is a Jeter sp (61 i think) and a few pricey ones like hank aaron but they are great looking cards.
