Default Looking for some help! Is this Barry Bonds autograph real?

Hey everyone, I don't post in the baseball forum really ever but I'm looking for some advice.

I used to collect a bit of baseball, though stopped a while and was going through my baseball box today.

I found this and I remember getting it at a card show probably 12 years ago. I don't have any papers for it and clearly it's not PSA certified but for what it's worth at the time I believe I was convinced it was authentic haha.

Anyways, I could use the baseball forums intelligence on giving me some info! I took a few photos to give a better idea and hopefully a more accurate response. If it is believed to be real it is for sale, though I know this is not the forum for that. Just throwing it out there! Thanks for any help guys!

Thanks for the link. I was looking at a bunch on ebay but at least in other forums it seems there are some people very good at telling whether or not an auto is real or fake so I was just looking for some advice.

From looking at others it looks like it could definitely be real, I just wasn't sure if there were certain characteristics that help make it distinguishable. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, it seems his is never quite the same.

I don't really have any kind of desire to get it authenticated, I was more just curious I suppose.

If I do sell it on ebay I will certainly mention that while I believe it to be real I did not get it in person and it has not been authenticated. If some people think it's real maybe it'll sell, if not oh well.

The few autos I have seen of his look slightly different than yours, but like someone else said, his autos vary. I would bet that it's real, but that's just my opinion.

With a black sharpie you would see hesitation in a fake auto... I see none in that picture. Could be an expert at faking him.. but in 1992.. what would be the point? lol... I would lean toward it being an early 90's auto and have it authenticated. JSA would know most

Best way to find out is just to send to PSA. All you will get is different opinions here, and non of them matter we can not increase it's price, PSA can.

Oh and btw, just my opinion, I think fake. I've never really seen an auto like that of Bonds before.

Thanks for the opinions guys!

Like I said got it a long time ago so if it's fake, I don't really care.

Don't really think I want to send it in and pay to get it authenticated either.

Out of curiosity for those that say it's clearly fake, why do you say that? I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm just wondering how you came to that conclusion
