Default Advice on selling team lots?

I'm giving some thought to selling off the bulk of my collection in large team lots (~1000-1500 base and base inserts per team, almost all from the last 4-5 years). I'd be interested to hear what kind of success others have had on that front. Do these kinds of lots actually sell? When? (Now, mid-summer, or at the end of the season?) Is there a significant difference in price between the popular teams and the not-so-popular teams, or are the not-so-popular teams just completely unsalable? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would imagine big market teams sell better than small market. The Yankees will probably get you the most money.
If you have unneeded stuff of guys in my sig, shoot me a PM!

Thanks. I think you're right that the Yankees will probably be the easiest to sell. But beyond that, I don't really know; I think there's a chance the smaller-market teams won't really move at any price point.

All teams will sell, I think the Blue Jays were always tough for me because I don't ship to Canada.

I'm sure they'd do fine, maybe will take a while to to get the right buyer though. Before selling you should check here: The Free Card Thread

Good call, toppsfan. Scrolling through now.

And thanks, NewAgeHardcore and phillies347; it's not every day you get to see Mets fans and Phillies fans agree on something.
