Default Bryce Harper Finest Superfractor - $1000 BIN

Spent one minute too long deliberating on whether or not to pull the trigger...

Bryce Harper Nationals 2012 Finest 73 RC Rookie Card Superfractor True 1 1 | eBay

Do you think this was a steal for the buyer?

I think Harper's value is going to decline over the next couple years. I think the seller made out on that sale. Just my opinion.

man if that was Chrome....for sure but I don't know this product nearly as well. I'd imagine that someone would easily pay over a grand though....

Wonder why the dude didn't do $2,000 OBO.

i think thats too much for Finest, if it was Chrome it might have been right on with price since its not the auto.

Something like this:

1952 Topps Mickey Mantle Card Unknown | eBay

I would take the Harper super 1/1 over a Mantle in that condition anyday.

The more you search ebay the more interesting things you find. Not accusing anyone of foul play but it makes you wonder who won the auction if it was sold again just 2 days later.

The real point behind my post, it looks like $1000 is probably decent for a super if a Canary (at auction) went for the same ballpark amount. I know it's a different product, but I feel like once you get past the RC Super, any Super/Canary after that is all the same.

best part about that auction is it is a fake... and it still got over $900.
the black border not having the key overlap at the top left corner is key.

The first auction has a reserve not met.

To OP: it's not a bad deal but it's not like he has only 1 or 2 superfractors like before. Now everyone has like 10 different supers from prospect cards and rookie cards. The value of supers are going down.

As someone that PC's Harper I would pay $1000 in a second if my budget allowed.

Agreed.

I am conflicted.

I've still got some Harper stuff left that I meant to hold, but it is increasing and may get to a point where I basically have to unload

This worked well for me last year as well. A lot of nay-sayers didn't buy in on the Harper hype-train and I made a killing of his base rookies and parallels. Thanks guys!

I look at Trout prices (Who prob. had the best year he'll ever have already) and I look at Harper who is selling lower, and I know he has room to rise.

Not to spark a war, but from what I understand- there are two versions of the 52' Mantle.

One with and without the top left overlap. The non-overlapped version also has a full black border Yankee logo, which this card also has. Where in the overlap version the border is almost non-existent.

At first glance, I assumed this card was legit actually.

yeah, it's a very close reprint of version "A"
i supplied a link that you should check out, if you ever find a raw copy at a yard sale.

i printed one out to keep in my car, just in case.

Very cool information, these boards could use a vintage section actually.

And honestly, being able to tell original vintage from fakes is probably what gives me the most hesitation in buying raw.
