Default 2013 Topps Heritage Retail is Live!

This is my favorite product without a doubt. I'm old school and not a prospector. Local Target had nothing but Wal-mart had some rack packs. I didn't pull anything major, best was probably Buster Posey Blue Parallel. Only blue one in all four packs. Looks like inserts will be harder to come by. Anyone else buy any? I saw a few breaks where someone got a few stamp cards.

Yep, I pulled two stamps somehow in my break. Not sure how much they are worth, but we'll see.

Stuff looks great, hoping to get some Wal-Mart ones tomorrow so that i can get some blues too!

$2.98 may be cheaper for packs than last year, but $5.98 for racks is more expensive.

weren't racks 9.99 last year? Maybe I am thinking of jumbo, still for the odds, that isn't bad.

Actually, the odds for the rack packs are the worst of the three types of packs. Blaster and loose packs have the same odds, but Rack Packs, even though they are double the price, are still 1:3 for SPs, which really takes the value out of them.

Autograph odds are 1:120 packs, that's all I care about. LOL

The racks are definitely not the way to go. You do get 20 cards (I believe) which is two more than two regular packs, but the odds of hitting stuff (SPs, chromes, relics, autos) can't be better for the price. The odds on the rack packs should be twice as easy as a single pack to make them comparable IMO. At least that's the way it was last year. Also, last year I think they had the clam packs with three packs sealed inside with three black borders.

I got lucky with the racks, pulled a red auto #/64 and a gold relic #/99.

Odds on the rack packs are twice as good as the regular packs. Chromes 1:11 vs 1:24
Autographs 1:120 vs 1:258. I wonder how these will compare to hobby packs which will be roughly 4-5 dollars a pack.

That's good to hear. Looking at completing the base & SPs, chrome, and insert sets again this year. For Heritage, I like to buy two or three boxes of hobby and a bunch of retail. After awhile, $4-5 adds up and isn't worth it IMO for Heritage.

I picked up some blaster boxes at my local Walmart, not bad. I got several SPs, 2 Harpers, they seemed to be pretty easy to pull. I also opened one box that was loaded witht the purple refractors, about 10 of them but none in the other 3 boxes. The blue borders were also a tough pull, ended up with 5 of those, biggest name being Fielder. Pulled 4 of the Venezuelan cards, A-Rod was the big star. Stayed away from the racks because I just thought they were too expensive compared to the blasters. Nice set which seems pretty easy to put together. Love the 64 design and the overall feel of the card, I think it has the same card stock as the Turkey Red production.

Walmart here had 3 blaster and 8 racks left so somebody had already been there as there is usually more.

I grabbed 1 blaster and pulled 4 SP's with 1 of them being my blue border for the blaster. Also pulled 2 News Flashbacks that are 1:12 packs.

So I killed the odds on the blaster for sure even though I didn't pull any huge hits.

No way man, I would take hand-numbered on the vintage-type stuff any day.
