Huh? You can't see what a card sold for if it isn't yours, period.

Green prices are for cards being sold thru one of the promotional sales. It has nothing to do with BV.

Looking at sending in about 2000 cards in my first batch. Lots of 90's and 00's inserts. Beats keeping them stored in a closet.

Is there no paperwork to fill out? Just send in the cards and they decipher what they are?

How do you keep track of all 2000 cards you sent in?
Did you make a list to make sure they got everything correct?

I think I am going to give it a try. Is it worth it to send in 2012 Bowman Chrome base cards? I would hate for them to sit for 3 months and get hit with fees. I am sure the big names would sell. Also what is a good selling price for base on COMC?

but if you think about it say there are 100 that are not selling after 3 months. That is a total of $1 being charged for all those auctions to remain listed for another month. Doesn't really sound too unreasonable if that is worst case scenario

This is true. I guess my main concern would be all the base chrome. How easy do these move on COMC with $3 shipping?

Items listed below $0.75 have no storage fee either.

Because it is great for buyers too.

I just purchased a dozen cards on COMC for about $50.

If I bought the same cards on feebay, I would have had to buy from all different sellers, and my shipping costs would have been $25-$30, at least.

If the base cards are priced reasonably and that doesn't mean at BV or just a few cents below they won't have any problem moving. IMO any base cards of non big name Rc's should be priced at around $.20-$.25 each this includes superstar veterans.

Personally, I buy and sell on COMC.

As a seller, I love how easy it is to send in a batch of cards and basically be done with them. All of the cards I send in would be a huge waste of time to list on eBay.

Now as a buyer, I love the fact that I can buy base cards of minor league players at cheap prices and not get killed by individual shipping. Where else can you buy $.40 cards from different sellers and pay one shipping cost? Perfect for IP autographs seekers, like myself.

I just started selling on there recently, and I love the fact that once I ship the cards to them, I'm done(other than pricing). As a buyer, it really is huge to save on shipping. I just bought 16 autos of a prospect that I am hoping pans out, and there is no way I could have gotten that many on eBay or anywhere else for as cheaply as I did.

Is there a way to search COMC for "sold" prices? I have some cards I'm thinking about sending in and I'm curoius what they may have sold for on there prevoiusly. I didn't see any options when I was messing around on the site.

I dont think there is a bulk edit, but honestly I can do around 50 prices in a minute. Doesnt take long at all as long as my comp is working smoothly

A little "easter egg" feature that helps you price cards in bulk is to enter the value for the first card you want priced and press enter. The textbox on the following item should be highlighted, so enter ** into the textbox, which will automatically enter the price of the above item. You don't even need to press enter, just keep entering ** for every item you want priced the same.

Only time you'll need to press enter is for N/A book values or any other times the page wants price confirmation.

Bottom end (stuff which has many, many copies) will go for 90% off book on a good day.

Fresh product which hasn't flooded the site with dozens of copies will go for anywhere from 50% to full book.

On average, my cards sell for about 30% of book, which includes higher and lower end stuff, but it's mostly inserts and parallels that I send in.

Completely depends.....

RCs anywhere from $1-$10. I just had a Boster Posey 2010 UD bought from me for $10....no way in hell I'd ever get that from ebay.

Tops players and prospects from 2012 chrome...I list them for $.74 which equals out to $.99 for the buyer. If it's Harper or someone real hot...check other listings and see what's what. If it's a card I wouldn't otherwise sell, I just price it to move which is generally $.49-$.74 and they move, not real quick but quick enough.

Guys if it's your first time sending in...YOU DONT NEED A COUPON FROM A MEMBER. Just message the customer service e-mail.

this is only part true. w/the $20 free listings they give new sellers you won't lose anything, also there have been so many different tiers over the years as well as other promos where cards were dirt cheap to get on the site. Now I am currently losing $ on some low end cards, which will help someone else flip to make a couple of cents, but it's the only way I can move them.
