Default Who's Planning On Busting Gypsy Queen?

Just trying to get a feel for the market. Wondering if this year will be worthy!

I plan on building the set, since I like the design this year.

Whether I bust wax depends on the price and how many SP's there are.

I might pick up a few blasters. But I always have the worst luck with Gypsy Queen. And by that I don't mean that I pull lousy cards, I mean that I can't find any boxes no matter where I go (which in retrospect might be a blessing in disguise). Hopefully I'll be able to find some this year.

Paid for two cases so far, may add one more. I have high hopes for the product this year.

350 base cards, 50 which are Sp's.

I'm doing two cases. Thought about 3, but figured ill just tear into some. Retail on release, and used the rest to buy some 90s boxes haha.

I had a blast building the mini set as a summer project last year, and this year should be similar. I'm buying a couple of hobby boxes and some retail to pick up some minis, and then pick up the missing ones in trade or as lots.

Well, those of you who are busting cases please keep me in mind if you want to sell off the mini's in big lots as I'll be building all the mini sets without busting any boxes.

Gypsy Queen has become my #1 favorite product each year so I think there are varying degrees of interest as it enters it's third year.

If you had opened in 2011 you might feel differently. Everyone who opened in 2011 just about doubled their money. Last year was blah as everyone thought they'd repeat 2011. This year they seem to have added content again and made the short prints/minis less confusing.

Checklist is out2013 Topps Gypsy Queen Baseball Checklist, Set Info, Boxes, More

They have the crazy skip numbered SP's and 25 variations. The mini master set has 450 cards, with 50 SP's and 100 variations! The auto list looks pretty good with Bundy, Machado, Profar, Ruf, Marte, Harper and Trout.

I really enjoyed 2011 Gypsy Queen and I had picked up a case upon release before the price jump. I didn't buy 2012 but heard it was a major step down from 2011. After looking at the sell sheet for this year's Gypsy Queen it looks like it may be a good product to pick up.

Dang, too bad I am getting married this year. I won't have funds for busting as much of this as I would like. I love this set and it looks like a get checklist this year!

I pre-ordered two cases of it on a lark, now I'm starting to wonder if it was a bad move. I suppose I could rip it and send a ton of it to COMC.

I like it, but will do more A&G than this.
