And I don't think he's even that good.

Phillies are going to be a 4th place team in that division in a few years. They haven't drafted that well recently, and have no one close to contributing other than maybe Biddle and Joseph (and Ruf, but he's already been up)

Back on topic though, Even though the checklisthas 3 extra names on it so far (Yes, only 3.) it should still be a great product. Definitely better quality than last year.

You say that like last year was bad quality. Taveras, Rendon, JBJ, Cole, Boegartes....etc were pretty solid

Oh no not at all, 2012 Bowman was definitely pretty good.

This year will be much better. I think the depth is better in this class, and the elite at the top is better at release. Taveras was a good hit at release last year, but he wasn't pulling a 100 per base auto. I think Correa and/or Buxton could get close to that at release, something we haven't seen in a long time.

I also think the Rookies are overall better this year. Machado, Ruf, Eaton, Bundy, Profar will all be great pulls.

I definitely agree with this 100% Last year had the chase for Darvish and that was it.

Not only the fact that there are more good names, but I believe it will be the first Bowman Chrome autos of Eaton and Ruf. Easily better than last year.

I didn't think it was possible to make that many grammatical errors in one "sentence".

I'd say the people paying 20-40 dollars and up for his elite autos care. That card will be at worst a 20-30 dollar card on release if his unlincensed stuff is still that hot.

Stellar contribution to the thread though.

Well I'm not the idiot who buys autos of a AAAA Brad Eldridge player for those prices.

Good for you, when he gets called up and hits a HR in his first game, people will flip it then. Rarely do prospectors hold onto cards for years.

I don't prospect, I'm saying his card will be popular, given Phillies collectors haven't really had much to collect in the terms of rookies and prospects last couple years.

I don't know much about him but from everything that I have seen he is supposed to be super fast. Not much power I don't think though.

This is just my opinion on how things will shake out after release... would love to see everyone's opinions. This is based on Puig not being in the product as an auto because he would have the #1 auto in my opinion.

1. Byron Buxton
2. Carlos Correa
3. Darrin Ruf
4. Manny Machado
5. Dylan Bundy
6. Oswaldo Arcia
7. Stefen Romero
8. Alan Hanson
9. Lucas Giolito
10. Gregory Polanco
11. Luis Sardinas
12. Brian Goodwin

I honestly think it's a crap shoot after Correa. Several guys could could be in there. There's 10-15 guys who I consider 3 star guys who could take the next step and become top prospects.

Ruf shouldnt be so high, but people will buy a lot of him and then get disappointed in a year when hes toiling in AAA.

I dont really count the rookie autos, but I think Giolito, Hanson, Polanco will be below Buxton, Correa, Arcia as the top guys.

Oh I agree. But those rookie autos will be sought after. That is based on Ruf's elite auto which sells very well.
