No, I mean it isnt physically listed on the back of the card. Basically, the normal person buying a box and doesn't full on follow the draft won't know where te kid was picked, while in Draft it tells you.

Trivial, I know, but it is relevant in the same way that people buy "As seen on TV" stuff beacuse all they do is react based on a 30 second staged commercial.

Autographed Die Cut Atomic Refractor #/1
You keep posting something from a 3rd party site. My list is from Bowman's facebook and is listed after the top 100 prospects. The checklist they posted is 100% official. Just think about it, are they really gonna have every single top 100 prospect with a auto in this?

I think you are the only one to ever see that link on the side of the page. I'm sure they will have the die-cut parallel's up to /99. Other than that, I'm not sure. Good luck collecting them!

I'm pretty sure they list that information on the back of the Bowman cards and not just the Draft cards.

I think they put what year and team drafted them, but not what place in the draft they went.

I wasn't referring to the physical cards showing year or draft position. I was referring to the draft in general.

It's a large media event, people pay attention and those that go in the first round as potential top prospects. This is easy for part-time prospectors to determine who may or may not be good.

International Free Agents don’t get the same hype or media attention as draft eligible players. Bowman is usually a hot bed for IFA's. This tends to require a person to know much more about the prospecting game and players in question.

A recent example, Taveras an IFA in bowman last year. His cards did very well out of the gate, but mainly only to those that had more knowledge. It took a month or so of word of mouth and stats for people to really jump on the train.

What I'm getting at is yes some of you may think this is a decent checklist and that may be because you don’t know much about some of the players. Some of the IFA's have just as much potential as Taveras, Boegarts, Profar or any other IFA that hit it big in recent history.

Just my opinion and I'll leave it at that. It's probably not a good idea to give my info to someone who can eventually outbid me. So those that buy in, good luck. Those that don’t hopefully you will not miss the train.

Happy Bowman 2013!

Umm, the Rule 4 draft is anything but a large media event. Only big fans pay attention. Just saying.

The only people who pay attention to the draft are huge baseball fans. The casual fan rarely cares unless their team is in the top 3, because it's probably going to be 3+ years until they are even sniffing the bigs

i feel like a jumbo case is "supposed" to have 24 base autos but with all this extra auto content think it may yield on average 26-27 depending on odds. Thoughts?

knowing topps there still only only will be 12(hobby ) & 24 (jumbos)

it means they can squeeze a few more cases out
when does topps ever give extras ?

14 RC autos and 42 Prospect Autos ... Topps got ridiculously greedy on this one.
There were 12 RC autos and 38 prospect autos in 2012

There were 15 RC autos and 35 prospect autos in 2011

I'm not seeing how +6 autos is "ridiculous". Also, you can't assume that base auto production or insertion ratios will be the same as last year either. More names doesn't always = more total autos. They could easily just improve the odds on #'d hits and cut back base autos.

One other note...when this stuff was first solicited nobody even sniffed it. Most people were very down on this year's Bowman until recently. I suspected all along that the added content was Topps' way of saving what could have been a disaster of a product, and it just may be.

They have done it in the past. They did it with last years Chrome if I remember right. I wish they would word it "3 chrome autos per box" and EVERY insert auto was an extra hit.

The question is, what is left for bowman chrome? Aside from puig, only Andre Rienzo can save that checklist.

It will probably be pretty bad. I don't see how they can make it that great with what they have to work with.
