The long slow wait will happen Monday, Tuesday, and part of Wednesday (depending on your UPS driver).

Yeah, both places that I ordered cases from think that they will arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. I live in the absolute middle of nowhere so that doesn't help.

Ouch, Thursday will hurt. When Draft released, we had a big snow storm come through here. I waited all day because my 26 cases were on the truck and scheduled for delivery. About 4pm (I usually get delivery by noon) or so the tracking number updated and said that bad roads was rescheduling my delivery. I was so ticked. I called them up and had them pull it off the truck and I went and got them myself. Was a VERY long day.

Hopefully they come in from one of my sources on Wednesday so I can get the first wave of them busted. Then if the others get here on Thursday I can work on them Thursday night.

I have my UPS driver's phone number. My area is at the end of their delivery area most days and I wouldn't get my stuff until late afternoon. When I know something is coming I just give Brian a jingle and meet him. I've gotten pretty good knowing where he is at during certain times of the day.

You could also try having stuff shipped hold for pick up. That's hit and miss though depending on what kind of building your UPS driver is coming out of and how far away the building is. But at least then you are able to get is right away in the morning.

I have my drivers number also and he is good about working with me. I'll be at work on Wednesday and Thursday so I just had my cases sent there. We get multiple shipments from UPS everyday so hopefully I can get them in and bust them when I go home.

"okay sir, what would you like us to risk our drivers life for? Is it a rare type of blood for your transfusion? a vital organ you need for your transplant?"

"uh..no ma'am it's boxes and boxes of baseball cards...no not for my son, for me, I buy and sell baseball cards and it's the most important thing in my life, I am so angry right now let me speak to your supervisor!!...just forget it I'll risk my own life and come get them"

Ok, so let me clarify so you don't feel as if you have to be so condescending next time. The snow storm caused a delay from the previous destination. All packages got to our local hub a couple hours late. All roads in our area were 99% clear, including every road coming to my house. Not a spec of anything. It had hit the day before and melted. All other mail got delivered as well. They were just so backed up that they could not get everything delivered (or didnt want to). Sorry I was not crystal clear with my post. I hope that clears everything up for you. My life was not at risk, nor was my drivers. I am sure you sincerely care, so thank you.

These would lead me to believe the presses were cranked.

Not even a blue auto in a jumbo case, yikes.

Also, the base parallels are twice as hard.

Man, was going to buy retail, but I would think the odds there are twice as worse too. Might just wait for Monday after all.

And since when are there black refractors?

I hate, HATE, that they sticker auto'd the crap out of these inserts. Totally ruins them imo.

Odds on refractors, blue refractors and red ice are nearly tripled what they were last year. Wow.

There isn't any......not until Bowman Draft. This can't be right......1 Refractor for almost 2 boxes? No way.

This is 100% false. It would be the end of Bowman if they were the true odds.

If those odds are correct ... and that's a big if ... not only does it mean bad things for the base / but the base auto print run is simply ENORMOUS.

Purple autos are only available in Jumbo cases ... so we can take the odds 1:1080 jumbo packs and figure out just how many Jumbo cases.

42 prospects * 10 Purple autos per prospect is 420 Purple Autos.
Odds of a Purple auto are 1:1080 packs (or one every 11.25 cases). 11.25 cases * 420 autos and you get 4,725 Jumbo Cases.

Bowman would have printed at least that many hobby ... likely more. You're looking at roughly 10,000 + total cases. Absolute madness.

I don't think these are accurate, there are no base black refractors on the sell sheet for one, and a refractor per almost 2 jumbo boxes? No way.

Those can not be the correct odds. They are outrageous.

I doubt these odds are correct. How many times have you opened a Bowman product and it takes you 2 JUMBO boxes to hit a base refractor? Never.

Yeah the original source that posted this (on another site) said it was passed through to him from a few different people so not sure how reliable it is, but I for one am not hoping these are true
