i'm friends with a guy that has a son that plays in high A/florida state league. i'm going to talk to him to see if he can get his son to ask a teammate (who has prospect auto in 2013 bowman) how many total cards he signed.

does anyone know if topps has some sort of required confidentiality agreement with players in regards to number of cards signed?

I figured it out. Chappy is trying to keep the hype down so he can buy up singles as cheap as possible after release. Not a bad strategy.

Not a bad idea but so sir. Not a penny going into Bowman '13, not even for 3,000 Matt Olson autos!

Still going strong for 2012 ...

LOL, now thats some funny stuff. Give him some ketchup or something so it doesn't taste too bad. Afterall, he does have good intentions. Everyone goes astray at some point. He will realize the ways of the wise and be back with us in no time.

3,000 is right. 2,200 base / 500 refractor / 150 blue / 50 Gold / 25 Orange / 10 Purple / 5 Red / 4 Plate / 1 Super.

2,945 I suppose ... and maybe even a Black parallel. Who knows.

I'm in the NeedChapmans camp on this one. While I do not think that it will be worthless by any means, I believe that the average ROI (based on current pricing levels) from busting cases is going to be dismal.

That being said, there will still be ways to profit from singles for this release but I believe that some of the traditional paradigms and purchasing models tht have proven successful in the past will have to be adjusted to maximize potential ROI. Specifically in regards to the proportional pricing divergence between base and parallel autos and what I believe will be a more significant delta over time.

Hobby Odds supposedly leaked by same person who leaked the Jumbo.

EDIT: These ones at least add up to 12 autos per case. Not looking good, but they are consistent unlike Jumbo.

We will all just have to wait to see how the first few case breaks go...

1. The posted odds may not be the actual pack printed odds.
2. The posted odds may be the actual odds, but do not match up to actual breaks.

We should all know for sure very soon...

Yikes, these are awful.

Blue prospect auto every 2 cases of hobby.

RC Base auto every 1.1 cases.

Aflac auto every 7.14 cases.

These are brutal. If they are in fact real, we will soon find out.

So, 1:38 on the prospect auto's? That doesn't make much sense at all. Also, 4.3 base refractor's per case. lol. That seems pretty dumb.

One things for sure. Prospect Color & Prospect Color Autos are going to be tough to come by.

Rookie Auto odds are MUCH better this year for Hobby than last year, so that explains that.

It looks like they are transitioning into replacing base refractor's /500 with mini refractor's. I don't think I like that.
