Wonder if he's about to make enough profit to buy a new car or if he just jumped on after Trout got hot?

Probably the perfect time to sell these Trouts; one week before opening day. The last week to sell while riding high on last seasons statistics and ROY award.

The perfect time to sell Trout has come and gone. I'm not a hater, I just don't think he will get anywhere close to his asking prices for almost all of these cards. Unless Trout surpasses last year, there is no way Trout mania ever reaches the level it did last summer. Even if he did, I don't think the market gets white hot like last year. Good luck to him, but if he bought during the hype, he's probably going to take a bath on his investment.

Think I'd have a chance if I offered $4500?

You can give it a shot but that card is worth up to 6K IMO

I'm going out on a limb, that his listings are more of a "show-off" thread of sorts. That stuff is just unbelievable!

He sold the #1/1 non auto Museum Collection card, so maybe he needs/wants to actually move these.

the seller bought and/or picked up all of these trouts for wayyyyyy under what Trout stuff was selling for last yr. He basically stole them at the price he got them at, before Trout stuff got hot. Great job by the seller. He is going to make a killing when he sells his stuff, even if it it goes for half his asking price.

he bought early, and everything he saw.

also lives right down the street from me. met him at J&J's in hammonton 3 years ago and he bought all 6 of their trout elite and chrome auto's for $150-200.

He doesn't have to surpass last year. He could do 85% of last year:

.277 avg, .339 obp, .479 slg, 110 Runs, 26 HRs, 71 RBIs, 42 SBs, etc

Still pretty dang good.

but the point is that he would have to surpass last year for his cards to spike again..........

If Trout bats only .277.........his cards will drop big (unless he goes 40/40).
