Chapman's.
Don't mean to burst your bubble, but reports and Baker are saying no on Cingrani as of yesterday.
Justin Freeman has been called up.

Reds promote Justin Freeman

by Bill Passonno | CBSSports.com

The Reds promoted pitcher Justin Freeman from Triple-A Louisville Monday to fill the empty roster spot of Johnny Cueto after he was placed on the 15-day disabled list. Freeman sported a 1.80 ERA in his first four appearances with Louisville while racking up six strikeouts.

And as for the Tony Cingrani Collection, I simply don't have the time to scan it all but if you check my eBay items for sale, you can get a taste for what I have (even though they're on eBay, they're not for sale at this time). Cincinnati is not playing good ball right now / I had expected Leake to be sent down with his poor pitching soon but this may speed up the Cingrani time table. We'll see.
Sure, rub it in my face that you one-percenters can just throw away $0.50 when ever you want to show your cards off...

I don't think you guys understand ... Justin Freeman has nothing to do with this. He's a reliever who is replacing JJ Hoover. He just filled Cueto's spot so Cincy would have an extra reliver in the pen the next two games.

This move has absolutely no bearing on Tony / who is still 99% going to pitch Thursday.

Heh ... 10,000 free eBay listings until the 18th.

It costs me nothing. NOTHING!

I forget that as one-percenter don't have to pay for your $0.50 listings because you can actually afford to. Instead ebay passes those burdensome fees on to the little guys like me...

Yes, he'll be starting Thursday against the punchless Marlins. His next start will be against the punchless Cubs.

THAT is when you sell. He will almost certainly put up Nintendo numbers against those two teams. People will be worked up into a lather. IMO, the time to sell is between his second start(against the Cubs) and his third start(against the Nats).

To be honest, I wish he was starting against the Braves and the Tigers in his two starts. For me, he's in a no win situation because if he cleans their clock, everyone will say "Yea, but it's just the Marlins and the Cubs" / and if he struggles "Damn, how can you struggle against the Marlins and the Cubs!".

I never expected him to be called up so soon and I still think it's early for him so I'm not looking for a dominant performance, just a good one. If he can get out of these two starts with a win, and a 4 ERA ... I'll be thrilled.

Pierre / Polanco ... they're big pain in the ass type hitters which which worry me the most.

You are correct. The article I was reading certainly gives room for a sudden call up. Article published on the 15th and Dusty's pronouncement of Tony not being helpful "in the next few days" was probably made on the 14th.
Thursday's wide open to prospecting still!

I'd like to see his stuff, and put to use against the Marlins, is not a bad transition to ML batters from Triple A.

I wouldn't under estimate Cingrani. Command and control guys usually fair pretty well the first they face a team.

HA ... I think that's the first time anyone has ever told me I'm underestimating Cingrani.

And of course ... wouldn't you know it there's a ton of rain tonight slated in Cincy which has already delayed the game (and could likely postpone it). If that's the case / the Reds won't even have to call Cingrani up until Sunday; they could very well just move everyone a day back in the rotation.

The very reason why Cingrani may not have been announced yet ...

Hes pitching against Jose Fernandez who may be the greatest pitcher of all time, lol. Cingrani will have his work cut out for him but if he get keep them close til the 6th, there is zero % chance they will lose bc Miami's bullpen is a lock to blow the game!!! When asked Wednesday what a successful outing would be in his first big-league start on Thursday, Cingrani's answer was simple — “a perfect game, I guess” he said.

Well that settles it. 4.18.2013 is what will likely be the first of many perfect games in Cingrani's professional career.

The day has arrived; I hope everyone enjoys the game.

That was the most stress I think I've encountered in the last 10 years. One inning down / 5 to go.

They let him hit, he has a chance at a win now. Needs a quick inning though.
