Default There Goooooooooooooooes TONY

Here comes Tony C, here comes Tony C right down Tony C lane.

Johnny Cueto is down with a triceps injury. Seriousness of the injury is unknown but if he misses any time, even one start, this kid Anthony Michael Cingrani will likely be taking his place. If you don't see Cingrani making his AAA start tomorrow ...

In the case that he does get the call, will you finally show your whole Cingrani collection?

Now why in the world is that card not graded? That looks gem to me!

And as for the Tony Cingrani Collection, I simply don't have the time to scan it all but if you check my eBay items for sale, you can get a taste for what I have (even though they're on eBay, they're not for sale at this time). Cincinnati is not playing good ball right now / I had expected Leake to be sent down with his poor pitching soon but this may speed up the Cingrani time table. We'll see.

Damn, you got 43% of the blue refractor auto's print run!!!

Over 50% on the golds, and don't even get me started on the base...

I have no illusions of holding this collection until my death, however the plan is not to sell during his call-up (whenever that may be). I will continue to buy until it no longer makes sense for me to do so / the market is getting pretty good right now as there aren't many Tony's left out there.

As for the scouting ability ... that's still a ?. Let's call that one in five years from now!

(That Plawecki lot is priced to tempt / I know it's a bit high but with his hot start, I just can't let it go on the cheap)

So there's a chance that Cingrani could be making his MLB debut in the next few days and you aren't gonna sell any of it?

Color me confused.

Why not cash in, some of it anyway?

He's not making his MLB debut...he was called up late last season.

OK, but it would be his debut as a starter, correct?

Cingrani was just pulled from the game in the 3rd inning not sure whats going on. He had not given up a hit and had 5 strikeouts in his 2 innings pitched.

That is CORRECT.

He will be starting Thursday against Jose Fernandez in Cincinnati ... his AAA line this year ...
  • 14.1 innings pitched / 3 hits / 2 walks / 26 strikeouts
Kid better try harder in the big leagues!

Two days before Thursday and Cincinnati still refuses to just say "We're bringing up Tony"

Such an irritating baseball team.
