NL MVP will be Harper hands down, when all is said and done.

Do I think he will be MVP? It's possible but I have doubts BTW: J-Up just hit his 12th HR (18 RBI).

BTW, for those who keep saying other players, I meant if the season ended today, obviously I don't think AL CY will be Buccholz

However, as I already said, he does need to improve when there are runners in scoring position.

He isnt eligible, threw 59 innings last year, from mlb.com:
A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues; or (b) accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the period of 25-player limit (excluding time in the military service and time on the disabled list).

Well I can agree with that. At least as of right now I don't think J-Up has MVP type numbers.

Upton is at .302 / .384 / .779, he's leading MLB in WAR, and he's not in the MVP conversation at this point in the season? Tough crowd.

bit of an advantage over everyone because he is basically coming out at an extremely young age off of a very solid rookie season and putting MVP numbers right off the bat (no pun intended). |
