Default Is Buxton a good buy right now?

I understand Chrome just came out, but can his prices still go up? Read a lot of places that he could be the #1 prospect soon, so is there room for growth, or are prices already inflated?

No, Buxton is not a good buy right now.....wait a couple weeks and his prices will decrease dramatically. Then buy.

I would hold and wait a few months before you start to buy.

IMO Buxton shouldn't be more than a $40-$60 auto right now. Prices will come down a bit, but we will see how far. He's off to a very good start but he has a LONG way to go.

I don't know, but I doubt it. Not enough power to be a big seller, his speed is certainly is certainly there, and his average looks to be well above average, but unless he develops more power, I can't see him being any better than a Jose Reyes type player with a little better average, and worse defensively/worse defensive position. In this case his auto will probably not remain as high as it is at the moment,

Buxton prices will definitely go down a little, but this guy definitely has MLB 30-30 potential. He's far better than Correa in my opinion. Leave it up to the Astros to pick Correa number one over him!

Correa is a stud. More importantly, taking him allowed them to pick up McCullers and Ruiz in the later rounds. They would not have been able to afford those two if they would've taken Buxton #1 overall.

Agreed. I'd hold off on most of the higher priced guys right now, that is for sure. Can't believe Buxton is still selling as strong as he is, just crazy.

I've been a Houston fan for years, and I don't believe in anything they're doing right now. For being such a stud, the guy sure isn't doing well in the minors while Buxton is tearing it up!

No. If you're looking stock up on Buxton cards as an investment, now is definitely not the right time.
If you just genuinely want a Buxton auto, wait 10 years and the price will most likely be a lot more reasonable/affordable.

I just can't justify paying prices equivalent to Justin Upton Bowman Chrome Auto debut prices. Upton was probably the most hyped prospect ever at the time and his Chrome came out in the $100-$120 range. I don't know who is pumping money into the Buxton market, but geesh.
