No, not only Tigers fans, it was dirty. It was late, and his spikes were up going into it.

That's dirty.

This is far too early to say with any knowledge, but Verlander looks like he figured some things out mechanically. He's also throwing his fastball a bit faster early on.

Dont disagree spikes were up but that foot never touched infante when taking him out. It was just a hard clean slide.

But it wasn't clean, it was EXTREMELY late. I'm not saying he's a dirty player, I'm saying that's a dirty play.

I've seen players slide past the bag, Rasmus slid like 2 inches before the bag.

It was dirty and the announcers said that. Which ones were you listening to?

When the play first happened they said it was clean.

I will feel bad for your team. You play in the worst division in baseball and you are almost behind the Indians. The Indians. The Cleveland Indians. Let that sink in.

You do mean the team we've beaten 6 of 8 games this year?

You must feel really bad for your own team, then...

Indians fan here, but I'm really excited for this series this weekend. If I were to guess, I'd think the Indians win tonight (Porcello/Masterson), no guess for tomorrow (Indians starter still TBA), and the Tigers take Sunday's match-up (Fister/Kluber). I know they said at least one of the games is sold out, which is impressive in itself.

This is going to be a great series. I think it's going to be a slug fest and all the pitchers are going to suffer ERA damage lol. We'll see though.

The Tigers don't play in the NL East, or the NL West.

And with that said, YOUR team is worse than the Cleveland Indians, so what does that tell us? Exactly, go troll elsewhere.

Looking forward to taking 3 of 4

Tigers rough up Masterson again, and it looks like V-Mart is FINALLY getting his consistency together, which would be great.

Masterson forgets how to pitch against Detroit, and Porcello consistently looks like 2011 Verlander against the Indians.

Fielder was sleeping. Lol I'd sleep against the Indians too.

Well, when you play a team full of scrubs, what do you expect?

Good win to start the series. Porcello was great, Alburquerque was filthy, and Rondon, well, good thing it wasn't a close game.

A great win but no reason to act like we're superior. We could easily be on the other end of that score
