I look forward to it coming back to Cleveland next year...I went the last time it was here for just one day and had a blast. Definitely a fun experience.

All I could get out of them was they will be doing "something special". Last year was 550ct box/$55 or 600ct/$60. I did my 1st submit at the last National trying 2 boxes full to try them out with the sort of stuff I had. I'm hoping they do something similar and will take full advantage of the max to load up my port.

Ditto man! Start planning now...it's a blast and makes up for all the (poor) shows I miss throughout the year. I'll never miss another one.

The way they got absolutely bombarded and taken by surprise last year, I'd be stunned if they did exactly the same thing. I would expect a "special" that includes something like full price for faster processing. I have no real knowledge though.

Here's a tip that not many people do: Sign up for, then attend, the Topps Town Meeting thingy, or whatever they call it.

Basically, a handful of Topps reps talk about upcoming products, then have a Q&A session. If you have a beef with Topps, it won't get resolved, because the reps are very good at giving politician-like answers, but at least you might feel better about being heard first-hand.

The best reason to go is the free stuff. They have a lot of great, pull your name out of a hat, giveaways, including high-end boxes. I'd say about 100 people attend, and 20 or so win stuff.

Even if you don't win, they have free beer and snacks.

It's at the end of the day, so you don't miss out on any of the convention stuff. You simply sign up at the Topps booth.

Enjoy!

One more tip: If you have any expired UD redemption cards, take them to the National and find out the details.

UD did this promotion last year, and gave away a lot of nice cards. I took an expired redemption card for a member on another board last year, and he won a DeAngelo Williams dual patch, auto card. Not the best player, but the card was sweet. More importantly, it was a heck of a lot better than nothing.

If they do it the same as last year, you take your redemption card to the UD booth, throw it into a cardboard box, then they let you know when they will be pulling cards from the box. You have to be present to win.

Again, enjoy!

Hello Folks,

I am glad to hear that so many of you are planning on attending The National. COMC is going to be there, and we are currently in the midst of running two specials for our newest service, The Vault. We will be showcasing our users Vault items at this show. For more details about the special and about the service, please check out our blog post: Filling Up The Vault | COMC Blog

Also, as a bit of a sneak peek, we will be running a special that will only be available to those who visit our booth. Be on the lookout on Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and our Blog for more information about the game plan.

If you need any assistance with getting your items ready for the National or have any questions, feel free to contact our Customer Service department, and we would be happy to help.

Regards,
Mark M.

Take what you can. Was that enough last year? I'm planning on $1200-1500+ just for the show. CC charges are at the discretion of the dealer, but they are always more open to negotiating on cash purchases.

7 million dollars(jk). I took $1200 the first time I went and $5500 the second. I definitely had more fun when I took more cash. I'm not going to take as much this time because I only decided to attend a few days ago.

Such a difficult question to answer. Take as much as you can afford. I've really cut back on my buying the last 4 or 5 months so I am rolling with about a 5K budget.
Some can afford $500, others 10K+. Just enjoy it with what you can afford.

It is easier to negotiate with cash, for obvious reasons.

I think this year i will bring 7000-10000, depending on how good of a month i have lol. I am a car salesman so it changes often. If its a stellar month might go crazy
