Default Astros Next Top 20 List

Singleton has the top spot right now but they drafted Appel and they have Correa who is playing great and Springer who is destroying the ball. They also have guys like Fontana, Aplin, Nash, Deshields, Folty, etc. If you are bored do all 20 but I'm looking for top 5 or top 10 lists.

With the Astros its tough to pick a #1 prospect...but Id def say Singleton is either going to sink or float this year the minor setback didn't help him and that's prob why he isn't in the bigs...my mock list based of hearsay and stats..

1. George Springer
2. Jon Singleton
3. Carlos Correa
4. Nolan Fontana
5. Desheilds

I wont add appel to anything until he pitches in the minors.

I think people look past McCullers too much, he's going to be very good.

Correa
Singleton
Folty
Appel
Springer
Deshields

I wouldn't be surprised with a 2013 call up of either springer or singleton.

Why are people putting Appel so low? He's certainly in the top two.

Has he even signed yet? I think once he signs and is on the roster if he hasn't that will raise his stock plus Singleton has been in the farm system for 3 years since he left philly... time to sink or float...

interesting, i would think springer would have to be above singleton after this season but correa and appel with be above both strictly on age and potential.

I see where he signed thank you had to go find it just to see terms...interesting how they want to fast track him and say he could be in the Bigs by 2014... interesting considering some of the prospects in the minors for them who haven't been able to make the bigs yet...

i like the talent they have put together in their farm system. It has taken them a while to rebuild because they just made some stupid moves with the trades they made when they first started rebuilding a few years ago, but I think they have drafted really well and I think either this offseason or next is the time they should start adding a few low cost vets to provide leadership for these young guys. I think they are probably about 2 years away from really competing, but if the right big name is in a free agent crop soon for them, then I think they can validate signing them.....similar to the Nationals when they signed Jason Werth before they were really not yet ready to compete (although he hasnt really lived up to his contract).

Wow,

Didn't know Mike Foltynewicz is rated that high, when is he ready for call up to the bigs... ?? not much publicity regarding him.. !!

I am sitting on his Superfractor with not much interest from buyers.
