First person to ride their bike around the world happened in 1887, just throwing it out there since they have People On Bikes this year.

The first Allen & Ginter cards were released in 1886.

Hello everyone. I am looking for a partner to work with for this year's Ginter Code. This is my third year working on Ginter Code and I have already found some interesting things in this years code. Please private message me if you are interested in being my partner.

On the back of the Pele mini's that have info on the back, it says the years 1958 and 1964, could be useful information.

You think the pele card number 130 could connect to the code some how? Like a code or the number of days to something?

Default Clues or Nothing?

Not sure if these are helpful or nothing at all:

1. The term "Unstuck in Time" is from the novel "Slaughterhouse Five" and means he can jump from time period to time period with no contraints.

2. The "R" in RESCUE from the front of the Ginter card is the face of an OWL when turned

Just a couple observations

Good observations! I like the Slaughterhouse 5 reference.

I'm beginning to think that Pele may NOT be part of the code - only because when looking for blank back or odd backed cards, nothing else seems to be coming up. Could just be a printing error - and no, I"m not trying to lead ya'll away from anything

This may be the stupidest response to the whole thread but if u keep this on track with slaughterhouse five, the main character that travels through time travels every time he closes his eyes. Collins eyes are wide open in the photo

Love the Ginter code...although my Fiance hates it because I end up working on it every night.

Incidentally, I've been examining the few cards that I have - the mini subset of the Ciphers and Codes cards have been interesting; I thought that there might be a clue in those. However, I've found that most of the ciphers that the cards are referring to are one of two things:

#1 - Ciphers and codes that to this day have never been decoded

or

#2 - The process of solvency for the codes are beyond the scope of a baseball card collector. Seriously. Linear A? No way. Kryptos? I don't work for the CIA (although recruited by the FBI)

The common theme of all the codes the previous year was that you did not need to actually have the cards in hand to solve it. Would be epic if that was the case this year.

edit: I blacklighted what I had and nothing different. Although the stuff on my wall looked hella cool!
