Hey guys,

I just pulled my first ever rip card - Giancarlo Stanton /25 - and undecided on ripping, selling, trading or just keeping as 'my very first rip card.'

Is there - or has there ever in the past been - a correlation between the numbering of the card and the likelihood of pulling a better inner card... i.e. low-numbered rips yield more 1/1's and such?

Over the years there has been ZERO correlation. You have about a 50% chance to increase your money if you rip it. Good luck either way.

Regular Minis are 1-300. SP Minis are 301-350. EXTs are SSP Minis found only in Rip cards, numbered 351-400.

Ripped a 80 dollar Tulow /50 and got a Don Mattingly Mini... We will See if that was wise. At least he was a Yankee and is now in LA. Could of been worse I guess.

I have a question I just opened a case and got no rip cards. Are they supposed to be 1 per case. If so what do I do?

Buy more boxes I guess, the rips are 1:356 and there are 288 packs in a case. The lucky SOB's who got 2 in their cases aren't sending them back to Topps either.

Why do you keep pointing out those odds without acknowledging the double rip odds? As others have already pointed out to you, the COMBINED odds of single and double rips equals out to one per case. Since the sell sheet advertises as such, yanks88 may have a shot at getting one sent since the case was missing one.

but there are no combined odds on the rip cards. Topps played it safe here. Neither odds guarantees you a rip card.
