Default Share 2013 Allen & Ginter rip card results here

Thought it might be fun/informative to have a thread of rip cards seen and what cards were pulled from them. Would love to track how the double rip cards produce relative to the single rip cards.

I'll start:
Rip card: Josh Beckett (RIP-98), #13 of 50
Card inside: David Wright EXT #381.
Wasn't too hard of a decision to rip, especially after I get a 2nd rip card (a double) in my case.

Nice! Any chance you are moving the Wright EXT?
If anyone pulls a redemption for a full piece of memorabilia, I would love to get the mini redemption card, just the used redemption card.

If I can't get what I "feel" my Cobb/Miggy is worth, I may just rip it. Probably never get that chance again.

I got a double rip Price/Longoria /10. I have been looking at it since I pulled it just wondering what is in it! I know most would say rip it, but I just don't know. This is a tough one. I posted it in the break section and I have some interest. I need a sign to let me know what to do, LOL!!!

Yeah, it's double sided. It shows it clearly on the card? People think there is only one in there? LOL

At first I would tell you that you should of sold the double rip, but if you were going to pull two of the best players you did. I wouldn't be surprised if that Jeter netted you at least 100. Congrats.

That's the whole thing ... up to this point most people have thought there is only one mini card in these. The wording is ambiguous.

Very interesting.

$100??? LOL... I bet the Jeter nets way more than that. Machado will sell for $100+

Actually I bet the Jeter goes for well over $200. There are TONS of big Jeter fans out there. He is the one player I cannot keep in stock after a card show. I always sell out of everything I have of him.

I see a guy on ebay ripped a Mauer rip 05/25 and got a redemption for a full game used item 'rip reserve'! Careful selling those rip cards, he turned a $150 card into a $1299 OBO.

Depends.
If your players are Ruth/Gehrig, I would not gamble on that at all. If it's two minor stars /10, i'd see for some more evidence of what people are pulling

Key component is how much double rips will sell for. None have sold on 'that site' to the best of my knowledge.

Default Ripped the double rip! 1/1!

I had a good feeling about it so I ended up ripping my Schmidt/Michael Young 5/10 double rip....

Mike Schmidt side: Miguel Cabrera #379 EXT
Michael Young side: One of a Kind "The Moai of Easter island" true 1/1 (double-rip exclusive)

Hopefully I made out ok!

I always wondered since I've never actually held an unripped card in hand if the flashlight trick works on these cards - like back in the days of 1998 Zenith. Because if it does I'd be wary of ever buying one.

That worked with the early Ginters, but they figured it out by 08 or 09 I believe.

I just pulled the Ted Williams / Willie Mays dual rip 2/5, I think it'd be better if I just kept it un ripped.
