I'm hoping that Gregorious makes his way in with an auto.

No kidding right?? I'm awaiting the release of the checklist with anticipation. I am thinking I need to lock in a case before that happens, because the prices will take off if the checklist is solid or even really good.

You can bet the checklist is at least good and solid...now, if it hits great, people will be sorry they didn't lock in sooner.

When do you think the checklist will be released?

Just added a little more sense of urgency to the decision of a second case

My guess is no sooner than a week before release, if not the Monday before...Topps likes to hold that back as long as they can.

If you don't like Topps, feel free to buy Panini Redemptions & Stars.

2010 QC was such a disaster they seemed to feel the need to do a wrapper redemption. I wouldn't expect one of them again.

Some guys are going to be redemptions. If they want to get Wheeler and Myers autos in the set, they will probably need to be redemptions because there isn't enough turn-around time, but still, would you rather have a redemption of one of those guys or another Brock Holt auto (no offense to Mr. Holt)?

Actually, I would say Myers has a chance at being live. He was live in Ginter, so there's a chance I'd say.

He was live in Inception, as well. I swear, the more I talk about this stuff, the more excited I get...

I know. I'm sure you've got a case or two of Finest to bust through first, as well. If you do, good luck!

I'll be sure to hold back any Longoria refractors for you, if I hit any...

Yea I've got a case of Tier One coming next week since it was delayed, and 2 cases of Finest, so I'll be holding myself over with that. Still a ton excited about TC though.

And I almost never pull Longo stuff for my self (not one mini in 3 cases of Ginter) so thanks haha.

I totally forgot to consider that Anthony Rendon could be included as well.

I had a dream last night that this stuff was at $95 a box after like a week. My dreams are totally prophetic, so you better jump on that.

Sadly, my car maintenance was $1200 this weekend, so I'm sticking with my three boxes. Still totally stoked for it though!

Was looking at the sell sheet again. I didn't realize there were TWO inserts sets this year. I'm not sold on the diecut set yet; will wait until I rip before passing judgement. However, I definitely will be putting the '72 set together. Everyone else thinking these will fall one per box like last year?

The '72 set reminds me of what they did with Heritage a couple years ago. Honestly, I think they're ugly, and add little value, but you know the crazies out there will be putting sets together.

I would say the die cuts will be one a box like last year. I can see the 72's being 3-4 a box though, and assuming a 50 card set, would take more than a case to build, and could be worth something.

Do you mean something in the actual Heritage product, or the heritage chrome cards in TC? I personally liked the latter and was sad they stopped putting them in. That Vintage Chrome insert from 2011 however, that was ugly :P

The Heritage Chrome is what I meant. And yeah, forgot about the Vintage Chrome set, and you're right, that was hideous.

I've got 5 cases coming and had to order from another source and I'm in the 3 day shipping, so chances are I'll be getting them on Thursday instead of Wednesday.

Will it matter that much with this release about being the first on ebay? I pretty much just do fixed and it still turns out pretty well, but I was curious with this being a little higher on the high end than I'm used to.

Looking forward to not having 10-15k cards to sort.

Chrome is a hits-based product more than a set collectors paradise, so no, I don't think it matters all that much if you're the first to list. I think you can allow others to set the precedence, then you reap the reward. Though, in a lot of instances, first to list typically gets the most

So many variables...

Probably won't matter as much as say Ginter, but it will matter a little, yes. I would look into upgrading to 2 day shipping if you feel it is important.

And don't worry, 5 cases of TC is only 6000 cards, not 10-15,000

Good luck and welcome back! 2011 TC was the gateway drug to my addiction...

AND, if he has someone there to help, he should have all 5 cases sorted as soon as he's done busting...
