Default My Boston PC is starting to take shape!

I got tired of the flip game, so I started selling everything off and working on my PC. Got a few more coming in right now, but here's what I've got so far. A lot of very old, and new, with not a lot in the middle, but I'm working on it:

Mike "King" Kelly

Hugh Duffy

Cy Young

Tris Speaker

Burks:

Greenwell (Only BGS 10 Greenwell rookie of any brand):

Varitek:

Ortiz - #d/100:

Papelbon (Chrome Gold Ref /50)

Lester (Only BGS 10 Chrome Auto of Lester of any kind):

Bogaerts -- Bowman Red 1/1

If anyone out there has a 1992 Topps Gold Nomar BGS 10, I'd be happy to deal with you!

Thanks man. Yeah, it has a little glue residue on the back (no paper loss), but the front is clean and it has no creases. Prob would grade like a 5/6 if not for the back issues.

Beautiful start. I wouldn't be content with that Ortiz though... I would work to get him in a Red Sox uni personally. That King Kelly is beautiful. What did it cost you if you don't mind sharing?

I took a similar refocus approach recently. Here's the thread if you're interested...

25 cards. 15 Red Sox cards of my favorite players and 10 cards from all-time greats. Haven't made much progress due to financial constraints, but I am really excited to have some focus.

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm torn on the guys that didn't start with the Red Sox -- Guys like Ortiz, Pedro, Manny, Luit Tiant, etc. because I really do prefer rookie cards. There are some that are close -- like Lefty Grove for instance. His "rookie" is '33 Goudey, but the 1934 Diamond Stars has him on the Sox, so I'm trying to get that instead. Also, with the older stuff, I'm trying to pick out the ones I like (or can afford) even if not technically their first card. We'll see how it evolves -- right now I'm trying to get 1 rookie of each player until I have most of my list checked off, then maybe I'll look for sox uni's of those guys. I got the Kelly for $550 which I feel like is a steal considering how the card shows (even though the grade is so low)
