Austin Hedges (#Padres) throws out another attempted base stealer. 7th man caught stealing in 10 attempts against Hedges. #AFL13

I need to go put on some new pants.

He's also 2-3 at the plate with a 2b and 2 rbi. Hitting .368 in the AFL so far.

Were you at the game? If so, how did he look? Line looks good but it doesn't always tell the whole story as I'm sure you know

Yes, we left after 7.

Heaney gave up 1 thru 4.
Single, stole second, scored on single.
Think 3 or four hits thru 4.
He reminds me of skinnier mark buerhle.

He's not overpowering but seems to get people out.

i picked up his red auto 9.5 (first red i ever bought), my fear is what was said above, if he turns into a great pitcher but like a buehrle type, that doesn't sell well. not a big power guy, just a guy who seems to do great at each level so far.

Oh I need a red too. Just have 2 Oranges, 5 Golds, 7 Blues, 12 Refs and 20 or so base. He has knockout stuff though and I'd say potential 2/3 guy with a small chance at 1 stuff

Don't worry, all you two need for him to do is start off dominating in AA and then sell. Don't wait for the callup and disappointment, sell when he's dominating in the minors and you'll come out ahead 100% of the time. Wait for the majors and your odds go down to 10% or less. For every Harvey (pre-injury) and Wacha, there's 10 others who do ok but prices go down (gray, Wheeler,Gausmann, etc).
