Default Prospectors, Have you reached your offseason buying goals?

Spring is near, and I want to know how this offseason has been for you!

Have you bought everything you planned on getting?

Have you gotten nice deals/prices on players?

Are you happy with your offseason haul?

How does this offseason compare to last in your opinion buying wise?

Dont tell me who or what you bought, just interested to hear if you're ready to go for 2014!

I still want to pick up a few more Aplins (for resell) and Montero (for PC before his prices rise a lot [which will happen in my opinion]).

I've bought as much as I could afford to - don't know that I had any specific goals though. Most of my guys are a ways off still, so I don't expect much of a Spring selling spree. Could do with Schoop tearing it up!

I have. I swore I wouldn't prospect this off season and so far so good. I didn't think that I had the strength so I'm pleasantly surprised. Good luck to all that did buy heavily though. May there be more Harvey's and Puig's then Skagg's and Ike Davis's.

As new to prospecting I have seen December be a big month for good buying. So this year I went a little over budget. If it pays off, great. If not, I have a nice collection. Pretty pleased.

I didn't do too bad. I missed out on adding a few players that I wanted to but also built up some nice stashes of others while continuing to add to a few of my guys that I was already loaded up on.. Its definitely going to be interesting to see how they start off the season.

This offseason was definitely the most aggressive one for me from a buying perspective, but the continued lack of supply in the secondary baseball card market makes it almost impossible to reach optimal goals. Nonetheless, I have found that a targeted, aggressive approach is the way to go.

You best not be selling the Aplin I gave you!

Never be afraid to make me an offer, if someone gets offended by an offer on a baseball card they have other, much larger, problems.

Lots of buyers are smartening up. I am very happy with my offseason acquisitions and grading results. Pretty excited to see what happens in the coming months as I ma just getting back into it.

Don't worry, I don't plan on it. Even though it's a sticker, it's still a beautiful card. Both your card and a blue wave auto from MikeWilliamsFan will stay here with me

Cards I receive from generous care packages/contests stay PC for me. If I were to sell right now, I'd have 3 refractor autos and 5 base. Doesn't sound like much right now, but in a year or two, that could be a very nice lot.

I would like to pick up a few more things, but on a scale of 1-10 of my success this offseason, I will give it a 8

My goal was to add some Buxton. I picked up 2 BC Refractor autos, a BGS 9.5/10 base auto, and an Under Armour auto, so I'm happy. While I would like to have more, it's just not in the budget.

Quick question for the baseball guys, as a baseball fan but a case breaker of generally only football, if I were to pick up a case of a 2013 product for prospecting/resale purpose, which would it be? Topps Chrome? Bowman Chrome? Something else? I know in football it's Topps Chrome so wondering if baseball the same? Thanks guys.
