Will be interesting to see where prices go. Bought some Silver Slate parallels /10 last year and can't get rid of guys worse than Broxton for even $10.

maybe the clear parallels will have more appeal, but I thought the Silver Slates were cool and they had the same rarity (actually, more rare since I think they were only available via wrapper redemptions with Topps?)

also--could just be the guys i have!

I could be way off, but typically pack issued > wrapper redemptions.

I think it just depends on what it is. The silver slate parallels were literally just base cards that had a silver border glued to the front and #/10 on the back. I think the clear parallels will have a lot of appeal.

Those are pretty sweet. I need to get me at least one of any Cubs. Preferably Lake.

I hope I win the lottery so I can build this set, because I think that is absolutely beautiful, and nice to see acetate being used in cards again. Otherwise, good luck to all those who pull any or need any for their personal collections, as myself, I will be searching for Adeiny Hechavarria.

I love acetate cards, reminds me of the late 90's and early turn of the century products. Back when collecting was REALLY fun.

So they're like upper deck trilogy or the "black" autos

I pulled a Kris Medlen clear plastic and listed it at $50 OBO. It sold immediately (less than five minutes) with no offer, it sold at the full BIN price.

I was quite surprised it sold at the full price. Maybe I should have listed it higher? Well, anyway I'd say these are selling pretty well for a Medlen to sell at $50.

The photos don't do these cards justice. They look very nice live.

Here is a pic of the Medlen:

Probably sold to the same guy that was trying to buy my Chrome Pink /5 for 250 before someone else drove it up and stiffed me. Seems to be a Medlen super collector.

Damn! $50?? That's a bummer.... Haha there is 90 Cubs for me to try and get... But not at that kind of prices... Hopefully it dies down and I can get one for like 10 or something.
