Until Joba fails miserably -- he is okay pricewise -- now -- if he finds a spot in the rotation and goes on a good run (6-0, 8-1, 10-2 or so) -- I think he will skyrocket.

Washes up?

I hope you have some of his cards because they will skyrocket by the all star break!

I agree with Vintage, especially because of the K's per inning and because he plays for the "EVIL EMPIRE"

Not sure he will be able to take the pressure the " evil empire" will give him if he doesn't do well. Not even sure he will handle any pressure from opposing teams either. Sure to go down if any bugs are involved LOL.

I think Joba is better suited for a closer, he has not shown in his college or minor league career that he can start. However he has shown that he can be huge in relief.

you guys I have been saying this since last year. Joba will never be a starting pitcher. This guys is going to be a lights out closer. Look at him last year when he threw a lot of pitches he got hit around the park. I will say he is going to replace Mo next yr and you will never see him in the rotation. I guess only time will tell.

if that's the case, his cards won't be worth as much by then?

I definitely agree with wolffer he is going to be a nasty closer, the yanks are going to be ridiculous with their young guys, assuming all of the are kept around and not traded...

But that is not the plan by the Yankees, they are planning on having him start.
