I think people need to chill out. Remember, we are talking about a piece of cardboard (in the words of my wife). Threatening people is not the way to go over something as stupid as this.

We all have our opinions over why this hobby is in trouble, but it comes down to one thing...greed. If anyone thinks that the card companies are not somewhat at fault, you are very wrong. They have ingrained into all our heads that if we do not get auto's or auto jersey cards, the cards are worthless. I was happier in 1997-99 when a jersey card fell one a case and a rookie card meant something. I sold a Keith Van Horn jersey for $175 because a jersey was the thing. Now, I can buy Lebron James jerseys for under $10 WTF. How many auto's, jerseys can u have and them still be worth something. Watch as some of the HOF players autos drop. You couldn't have a Marino auto a couple years for under $200, now $75. Why....there are just too many of them out there. Who controls that? the Card companies....... All comes down to this....

Card Companies = Greed
Distributers= Greed
Dealers= Greed
Pack Searchers = Greed

Not saying all of us are this way, but the mighty dollar sure causes a lot of people to do things that are not in their character.

I for one am happy when I open a box and hit all the players base cards that I collect.....Jerseys and autos are just an added bonus.

Just my .02 take it or leave it

Come on man you crossed the line with this! Pack search all you want, weight the boxes out, reseal and return, that's all good but go easy on the state bashing! Especially if you are living in MAINE
