This is why I either buy a box or singles. retail packs are a lost cause because of people like this. Too bad whatever you sell the card for wont buy you a conscience.
But your conscience is clear when you try to screw any sucker that you get to sell you AP RC's for $1.00??

Anyone who complains about pack searchers is usually just jealous that either they don't know how to search or can't get to stores often enough to search. It's all jealousy. Ethics and morals have nothing to do with it.

Pack searching doesn't screw kids. I know what does. Getting kids that don't know any better to sell Adrian Peterson's for $1.00. That screws kids. If someone talked my boy into selling his AP rookie card for a $1.00 I would kick his Ass.

I wouldn't say its jealousy. We have all been the guy who has pulled the great card, and we have all been the guy who has pulled jack squat. I don't even like baseball, so I'm pretty impartial here.

Like I have said before about this topic...not really a scumbag, just opportunistic...I can't really blame him, it's human nature to get a head up on someone. It's just in this case I do not agree with the methods.

All the righteous people that we have in this hobby.... Wunder hit the nail on the head. How many of you that are calling out Tarzan for pack searching have undercut someone in a deal? Borrowed something from someone else and never returned it? Ripped off that little kid with the great card because he didn't know what he had? Before you tar and feather someone, maybe you should look long and hard in the mirror.

With all the "Good Guys" in this hobby, it is amazing that when I do shows I have to have 3 people to man a 12' table and need to pack up anything with value and take it home with me everynight just not to have anything go missing from all the "Good Guys".

Who cares if someone pack searches....That is the least problem that is currently with this hobby.

I do agree, but wouldn't you be cheesed off if you bought a pack of something immediately after someone searched through a box and no one told you until after you ripped the packs? I know I would!

I guess that no one will ever know...except us on the board.

To be honest with you, I dont know why they would put something like that in a retail pack. That screws people buying hobby boxes.

Flo -
How is that any different than buying a pack at a show minutes after a guy walked up, bought a pack, went out to his car, pulled a Jordan Auto and preceeded to go home without telling anyone? It's the chance you take with buying packs.

Magic, I'm not claiming to be perfect either. I know that you have to keep an eye out for people, people tend to be D-bags! I've learned that the hard way at shows

PS - I'm glad to see that you're a Satellite Bills and Sabres fan!
