1 Box Bowman Chrome From Local Shop

My wife just got home, brought one box of bowman chrome home from my buddy at the local shop, an early anniversary present. Two packs in I pull this beauty

Don't know how I rate lately with my luck, but after some horrid UD breaks in the past few months I won't complain. Definitely not touching any more of this stuff now, I'm spent. LOL

Get that up on the bay instead of wasting time showing us! It is a $400 card now and will be 1/2 that once it gets flooded. Congrats!

It was $95 per box, and it was from BC Collectibles in my local mall. They're always a bit high on their stuff, but that's probably about right through retail shops.

WOW.......$95 a box already..... Makes me really want to just box out my 7 cases...

Even at $80 a box, I would be very happy.

I have no idea? The guy there said they've had theirs since last thursday and they were put out on the shelf this afternoon?? I know some people had their cases last thursday and were opening them, so it doesn't surprise me. Topps processing and delivery system leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't know if you'd realize those prices on ebay just yet mfarmer, but at the local money pit that's about the norm. Of course they also want $150 a tin for Sweet Spot Classic, so you have to take it in perspective.

There are already a few people on this board talking about a horrible break they watched online. I can't tell you what to do and I'd like to see everyone make a few $$$ out of this, but if you can box them out and sell them, I'd do it. Wait a month then come back hard picking up cheaper refractors, autos and auto refractors.

I think you can probably make money either way. The break from this afternoon on the beckett board was extremely discouraging because the collation was horrendous. To pull that many bad autographs out of a case is nauseating. But you could pull that many good autographs. It's hard to really know what to do, but I moved mine for a nice $1000 profit, and I'm walking away with the money, and a lot less work to do. Good luck to everyone no matter what you do, and may the profit be with you (and I'm not talking about Roman from Big Love, talking about the dimp. LOL)

considering it cost them $75-80 to replace, $95 isn't unfair for a hobby store.

Absolutely, $95 is fair for a brick and mortar. Will probably be more like $125 by next week.

Damn fine question. In all these breaks so far no one has even mentioned them. I am betting on top loaders. I hope so as I plan to just sell my top loaders sealed.
