Default Opinions on this Derek Jeter 8x10 Auto

Picked up this framed Derek Jeter 8x10 Autographed picture with a Dr. J and Marshall Faulk for $50.00 from a garage sale. No COA and the back of the frames are stamped from KO Sports Galleries in Las Vegas. Do you guys think it is legit and worth sending off to PSA or JSA?

Search of "KO Sports Galleries" bring up nothing, except this thread.

Yeah the address KO Sports used comes back to a suite in an office building that does short term rentals. The frames and mating looks like it would have been done in the 90's. Supposedly the woman who sold them to me was/is the wife of the owner of KO Sports Galleries.

Sounds like someone needs to take a drive over to the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop with that photo, and have Rick call his buddy from PSA down to take a look! Isn't that how everyone in Nevada and California get signatures authenticated???

Based on the 25+ Jeter Autos I have myself. And the few times I have gotten him IP, There is no way that sig is real. I am very good at telling 99.9% of the time, no way I would go near that. Dont mean to sound harsh but dont waste you money sending it off.

Unless you saw him sign it.. No one really knows OP. Auto authentication is an educated guess.

I think it looks legitimate. Just looking at some of his sigs from the mid 90s, it's definitely close.

Worth sending off for authentication for sure.

Sweet find!

Post it on net54. Those guys know their autos, and many are much better than the guys at psa or jsa.

Who is your "expert"?

I vote fake. It actually looks way off to me. Particularly the "De" part of the signature.

You couple guys are NOT Jeter collectors so your opinions hold virtually NO weight to me. None of you have given specific reasons why it is fake.

The auto is real based on 15yrs of JETER AUTO COLLECTING EXCLUSIVELY. My expert has an autod copy of literally EVERY Jeter card from 92 to 96 minus the 3 96 mirror cards. The D is right the loops are right the slants are right the ink flow is smooth. Thats all there is to describe. Stop passing judgement without anything to base it on.

Any of you can do a google search for 97-98 Jeter autos and find plenty of other examples that look nearly identical to this.

Well fortunately for you our opinions weren't even meant for you. They were meant for the OP. I don't know about the others but I could care less what you think about my opinion and have no desire to sway you one way or the other.

You have given no specific reasons why you think it is real other than your "Jeter expert" saying so. Reveal your source and maybe your opinion will hold more weight.

You're acting like an idiot. All of our opinions are for the OP clearly. I have given specifics from a long time Jeter auto guy(his name is none of your business and irrelevant to this). Obviously you failed to read what I wrote above giving specific details on what is consistent with auth Jeter autos.

I've stated my case and have no reason to engage in this banter any more.

OP - good luck and please provide an update WHEN it is authenticated.

The D is too circular to be legit in my opinion. I am not a jeter expert like your friend so this is merely my opinion.
From what i have observed, jeets usually makes his D more egg-shaped. Even his early signatures are not as round as the OPs example.
That plus the fact that it is from a completely unknown company that has not been mentioned online other than this thread leads me to believe that it is fake.

Remember that thread where the OP asked if a Bryce Harper signed ball was real and everyone said fake? Then he posted a pic of Harper signing the ball.

That was funny.

Yeah I don't think that was OP though
