Default Is it worth it to call Topps...?

I pulled a Mike Trout 2012 Bowman Platinum autograph blue refractor relic and unfortunately, the card came out of the pack damaged. When the pack was sealed one side of the card got clamped to and the marks run down the card on both sides. My question is whether or not it's even worth the trouble to call Topps and see if they will do anything for me. I am a huge Angels fan and obviously I love Mike Trout, so it's pretty disappointing that the card was damaged during the manufacturing process. Any chance Topps will even listen to me and consider helping me out with a replacement or something?

Give them a call, Topps will give you a list of possible replacements but they may not have the exact card you pulled that was damaged. They will offer cards of equal value.

Doesn't matter unfortunately. Topps usually does nothing if the product is more than a year old. You can try, but don't be surprised if that's the line they give you.

Yea I would say being a 2012 you are out of luck, but doesn't hurt to try.

I'd call if you're in the mood to listen to David Wright or De La Soul. If you're expecting a replacement, don't bother. That card's 2 years old.

If you email them they won't answer, if you want to talk call but like everyone else said you'll probably get the "it's from a product older than year there is nothing I can do for you" line...
