Default I'm telling you Arenado is gonna be a beast

What a start to the season. Some people thought he was a beast last year but I'm pretty sure the numbers he will put up this year will make them look like a joke.

3-3 2R HR 4RBI in the 4th

Probably inflated numbers because Kyle Lohse is tossing lobs right now

There's a lot of that. One game; and if Arenado was the only guy having a great day, I'd be more impressed; but Lohse has been throwing 88 MPH fastballs dead center and everyone is teeing off.

Kyle Lohse opening day starter. Brewers in for a long long season.

Last year, his haters went after his OBP. He's maturing and picking his pitches. Corey Dickerson needs some hobby love as well.

Love Dickerson, the rockies will surprise some people just because of their bats.

Yeah. They have solid hitting for sure. I'm hoping the bullpen can keep it together. Getting rid of J Chacin only helped as well.

That's mine.

Yea, the scan makes it look more gold than orange, not really sure why.

The Rockies have the best 1-8 line up in the bigs when healthy. The key to this team is keeping it's starters healthy. I hope it can happen.

They also have (arguably) the best defensive infield, and overall best defensive team as well.

Wow, write them in as the World Series Champs already then...

There are other teams that have just as good a lineup and defense.

Having a good offense and defense are just 2 parts. Pitching is a huge problem for this team as is playing at and away from Coors Field. If they could ever solve the adjustments needed for pitchers at and away from Coors Field (they never will) they would be winning the World Series perennially.

I made this kind of claim last year, but they didn't fare so well. Let's see how the season continues. Go Arenado!
