Default Has Anyone tried to do a Team set of Topps Gold cards dating back to 1992?

Seems like it would be a fun and budget friendly set to do. I use the term set pretty loosely. Has Topps had a Gold parallel every year since 1992? Those early sets I imagine would be fairly easy since the printed the crap out of everything. My concern would be the late 1990s-early 2000s, as I was not in collecting back then.

Just off the top of my head they abandoned the gold parallel as early as 95 and it remained that way for the rest of the decade until it came back in the 2000s as a serial numbered parallel. Not a great start. They had those cyber-stats partial-parallel cards as its replacement in 95, at least in spirit.
