I'm not a Nats fan, per se, but I do like a lot of players from their team. My dynasty fantasy team is hoping Rendon is healthy and back to 2014 form next year.

Plus they lowballed their first choice, I mean, come on Natinals.

You just spent a zillion dollars on Scherzer, you cant pay a few more million for Black?

That's strange, I can clearly see a huge cloud of pure disappointment directly ahead.

Really surprised they didn't go after Mattingly. Idk why anyone continues to give Dusty Baker jobs.

-----------------
Lineups

Current Pitching Rotation (tentative):
1. Max Scherzer
2. Stephen Strasburg
3. Jordan Zimmermann
4. Gio Gonzalez
5. Tanner Roark/Doug Fister

Current Lineup (tentative):
C- Wilson Ramos
1B- Ryan Zimmerman
2B- Yunel Escobar
SS- Ian Desmond
3B- Anthony Rendon
LF- Jayson Werth
CF- Denard Span
RF- Bryce Harper

Current Batting Order (how I would like it):
1. Denard Span
2. Anthony Rendon
3. Bryce Harper
4. Yunel Escobar
5. Jayson Werth
6. Ryan Zimmerman
7. Ian Desmond
8. Wilson Ramos
9. Pitcher

-----------------
Free Agents

What is disappointing, is the number of free agents the Nats have for the upcoming. We will be missing key veterans and strong points in the lineup if we are unable to resign them.

Notable Free Agents:
SP - Jordan Zimmermann
SP/LRP - Doug Fister
CF - Denard Span
SS - Ian Desmond

The team will most likely release many bullpen members, where the team really struggled with. Notable bullpen free agents includes set-up man Matt Thornton.

-------------------------------------------

Let's Go Nats

Desmond, Zimmermann and Fister are like 99% gone. No way Desmond comes back unless he accepts the QO and the Nats will be outpriced on Zim. And Fister is gonna say screw the Nats and find a starting spot.

Id be shocked, but not totally shocked if the Nats dont offer Desmond a QO and just be done with him.

Because for some reason teams look at him making the playoffs, and ignore that he destroys young pitchers. Teams have an attitude of win now, screw the future.

I'm incredibly disappointed we are ending up with Baker over Black. Rizzo and company are a bunch of idiots.

Hoping Rendon comes back healthy, I think that will be a huge asset for you guys going into the 16' season.

My apologies for the next two years, Nats fans. I like Rizzo less and less the more I learn about him.

I have a somewhat good feeling about good ol' Dusty. He might work out, never know.

Well then he better have had a change in philosophy. I know if I'm on the market as a pitcher this Winter, I won't be signing with Washington.

He might have changed his ways... He had three years to think about it.

The Maddux hire intrigues me. It's a successful pitching coach and a manager who has a reputation for ruining arms.

Great to see some shedding of dead weight, especially McLouth.

To counter Dusty's perception as an arm killer and to protect their $210m investment.

Nats info from twitter;

@ChrisLingebach: Rizzo, asked if it's safe to say Zimmermann, Span, Fister are all gone: "I think I would be comfortable saying probably."
