I'm selling base-sets of Veterans 1-40 of this stuff for $12 dlvd. One of the best base sets IMO! Everything is on clear plastic substrate!

You can never pass up a case of E-X for $350. Looks like you pulled a lot of nice RC stuff, like Rondo, Aldridge, Farmar. Too bad the tag was Warrick. I bet it was a fun break.

Yep it was a real deal. I'm thinking of picking up another case, but then I would have all those damned base sets. hehehe. I'll try to sell them on ebay for cheap just to get rid of them.

Sorry to kind of highjack your thread, but i was wondering how you guys get all these good discounts on cases? I always hear people say they use their live discount or something like that, where do i find these?

I would assume 'live' means they know the seller or their local hobby shop gives them a deal on old cases and perhaps cash discount as well. Otherwise I don't know.

There was a thread on MISC somewhere outlining this,

but what you want to do is to go to live.com
search for "cheap ps2" or something

you get a link up top that gives you a certain % discount for ebay (anywhere from 10-35%) keep refreshing til you get a good percentage.

follow the link and buy the case through ebay. look for blowout on there preferably. It's not a discount but a cash back. You'll still pay the full case price, but will get X% back in your paypal account 60 days after the purchase.
