It's all selling tomorrow evening on eBay, and will be posted to my blog, and I'll post it here too. Sales - cost of case - fees, down to the penny in all the gory detail.

But so far it doesn't look good. I know most of the action happens in the last day, so I'm hoping for the best.

Good think is I keep making money on 10-11 Donruss. The great thing about that product is there's so much of it, and people are really willing to pay good money for large lots of inserts, parallels, even base. The profit I'm making on Donruss is going to more than double the loss I'll take on TT.

Cool. Free shipping to Blowout members, just make sure to message me with your BO username should you win the auction. Appreciate the business!

And just to make sure you are aware, the back of the card has a scratch on it, very obvious. Came out of the pack that way, and it's clearly marked in the auction.

Weird, but that was the ONLY defect out of all the cards in the case. And it's not a handling defect, more like some sharp piece of metal at the factory ran across the back of the card.

A previous poster had asked for details of eBay sales results of this entire case, so thus I'm posting.

+ $696.47 - Total eBay sales
- $79.89 - eBay/PayPal fees
- $2.50 - eBay listing fees (this is approximate)
- $1169.95 - Cost of case from blowoutcards.com (with free shipping)
(I charge for exact shipping in almost all cases, so I don't make or lose money on shipping)

I lost $555.87 on this break. That's a 47.5% loss. That's not as bad as I'd guessed, as there was nothing stellar in the case break.

Some interesting sales were:

Timeless Treasures Mehmet Okur Jazz Logo Patch 1/1 $100.99
10-11 Timeless Treasures Game Worn MVP Quad PATCH /10 $48.00
10-11 Timeless Treasures Game Worn Quad JSY /25 Shaq + $41.00
2010-11 Timeless Treasures Oscar Robertson AUTO /25 $60.00
2010-11 Timeless Treasures John Wall RC Silver AUTO /25 (BIN/BO) $140.00

The Okur was a surprise. Some dude came in the last 5 seconds and shot the sale price from $45 to $100.99. Beat out someone on here who was shooting for the card. That buyer paid right away though.

The Oscar was a disappointment at $60, I would have thought that'd go for at least $75, maybe $100. I guess too many Oscar auto's lately.

The Wall /25 auto I sold too fast, I could have held out for more if I'd have had more balls about it. That's why I hate BIN/BO, I'm a sucker sometimes.

There are more details on my blog, including sale prices of every transaction, links to the sold item, and fee breakdown, etc. I don't post my blog address here though, against the rules, I think.

So I lost $555. I can think of much more destructive ways to lose $555, but instead I had fun doing it and didn't hurt anyone, so I have no regrets.

So close to 50%, thanks for reminding me not to buy cases. Timeless Treasures is complete crap that looked like a high school student designed. Such a drastic step down from last year.

Thanks for the great breakdown. Sorry to see you took such a big loss. I, too, would like to know your blog address to view your breakdowns.

Good luck on your next break! (Any idea what it will be?)

I opened a second case of this product.

Again, I like this product. Cards are clean as a whistle, and some of designs are very cool, and there's a good mix of legends and RCs. Problem is the value coming out of a case just isn't worth the 1.2K. But darn it! I like these cards. Why doesn't the case cost go down? People must be buying this at 1.2K for the price to stay there. Stop buying it people! That way the price will go down and I can buy more without going bankrupt.

Here are the results:
  • 35 base cards /399, including Kobe, Shaq, Wade, Amar'e, Howard, Nowiztki, etc.
  • D.J. Augustin Base 02/10
  • Monta Ellis Base 09/25 (#'d to his jersey)
  • LeBron James Base 03/10
  • Base Game Used Jersey's /99: Howard, Okur, Ginobili
  • NBA Apprentice RC (event worn) Jersey's /99: Patterson, Anderson, Ebanks
  • NBA Apprentice RC (event worn) Dual Jersey's /99: Aminu/Bledsoe, George/Stephenson (I know someone who wants this card, and I'll sell if for shipping cost, so let me know if you want it dude), Wall/Turner
  • NBA Apprentice RC (event worn) Triple Jersey's /99: Lawal/Seraphin/Harangody
  • NBA Apprentice RC (event worn) Quad Jersey's /99: Davis/Vasquez/Amini/Favors, Turner/Harangody/Davis/James
  • RC Year Materials: Durant /99, Conley /20, Ewing /99, Stuckey /49, Shaq /99, T Young /49, Ilgauskas /99
  • RC Year Materials Prime: Ewing 2 Color /25
