When we saw how cr@ppy the Hoops breaks had been, we diverted to opening more of our favorite schizophrenic ugly product, World of Sports. Fairly nice stuff:

Because he's a decent player for the Nats as well.

this stuff looks so much better than last year, and has names I actually recognize. Though some of the sticker autos with the "shadow" pictures of players (IE your westmoreland) don't do much for me.

Question, where are you finding boxes and what is the price point? I haven't seen any on BO for sale and I didn't search anywhere else about it.

Yeah, in the baseball box thread my lack of baseball knowledge is fairly evident, as is my inability to distinguish Danny Espinosa from Danny Valencia.

Everything is available FT for things in the signature, although we'll probably hold the triple for a while.

The reason you won't see it on BO for another few weeks is the ongoing UD-BO feud that ended up precluding BO from being an "authorized internet retailer." I think they need to wait 45 days or something post-release to begin selling.

I got mine locally at $75 a pop, I believe. We bought about 2 cases last year, including one overnighted to Hawaii to us from Chris at BO that arrived on release day. We made money last year, and also kept our SP Jordan Auto, which I think was a total coup. The product is semi-fugly (though marginally better than last year), but at $75 for 3 autos, one of which is usually that stupid non-picture auto, + 1 game-used, plus a shot at the shadow box / multi autos / jersey autos / jordan video cards, I think there is still value. Like I said originally, we were gonna pick up some Hoops before it dawned on me that I didn't need 38 more Da'sean Butler autographs.

Acetate, I believe. We were very excited to get one, although Michelle Wie would have been preferable for the Golf / Hawaii collection
