Worst Possible Box of 11/12 Exquisite to date? Need your opinions

I have been really lucky recently, Bron Blue PMG, Jorge Soler Orange Auto, some really nice big hits from many different brands which I dont want to get into here now, also tonight a super nice Kyrie Irving Threads autos from a few boxes...

I brought a single box of exquisite... Super excited to open it, my excitement quickly turned into bleak moment.. This shall be my last... The card photos are attached.. I shall let them speak for themselves... OHH MAN! hahah I had to lool very closely at the Larry Brown auto.. thought it didnt have an auto

Cards are in order as per I busted the box:

Horry Base /99
Bill Cartwright Personal Touch Auto /30
Larry Brown Championship Bling auto /99
Jimmer Freddette RC auto Redemption /199
Jim BoeHeim UD Black Coach Auto /40
Bill Russell Dimensions Auto (the big hit)


Not that I want to complain, do I have any grounds to talk to UD about the hits in this box / value of cards??? I guess at $900usd a box. I see no more than $200-240 in total sale value in all the cards in the box. I know you win and loose sometimes which I am ok with, I open alot of boxes and it goes with the gamble.. But to me this box just seems not justified with only 1 semi decent card in it. Most boxes I have seen autos containing atleast a few stars. I am happy I pulled a Fredette RC Auto (even though it was a redemption) as I am not far away from completing an Exquisite RC auto set. Exquisite RC autos are selling cheap atm.


Just curious about what other collectors and box breakers think of this box and what they would do. I do value your opinions.

You got the group a box

generally

1 box will contain jordan, 1 will contain lebron and the third will contain a group a auto (russell, bird, west, etc)

You answered your own question. You win some, you lose some. Remember, the MSRP is about $500. So if you get $200 to $240 in return, that's not bad. The distributors and the retailers drove up the prices on these. If you paid $900, that's still 22% to 26% return.

Well, basically there is no ground for you to complain to UD. You didn't miss any card.

thanks for the feedback. You guys are correct, I did get an A list hit so just its one of those situations with win some and loose some. If it was 500 a box, no issues here. Anyways have a good day fellas, I am off to bed.

If it makes you feel any better, I opened an entire case (3 boxes) and pulled the worst jordan auto possible, the worst lebron auto possible and can probably can barely get back 1k from the junk that came out of these boxes!

I know its tough to compare value, because I mean it's still an MJ, LBJ and Bird auto! And in your case a nice Bill Russell Auto ... but you'd think they could add less junk guys in a $500-900/box product!

The Fredette is a very nice pull.

If you pay $900+ for a box that retails in the ~525 area, you really shouldn't complain about 'value,' as you've already shown you prefer the thrill of ripping to money in your hand.

Yea could have been worse. YOu could have gotten a rc auto thats worth only like $10-20.

it's not that bad, there have been plenty worse
