That is the exact reason why the one of one (and almost all low numbered parallels) has lost its luster. The only thing making that different from the standard card is the foil coloring and the one of one on the back. It's a nice card, but does the blue foil really make it that much more unique?

I agree. I looked at the scan, and without seeing the back I wouldn't have known it was a 1/1. With autographs now, I think that the color of ink should determine 1/1s, and be numbered on the back so people can't just change the numbering. YOu could have blue be nonnumbered, black be /199, red /50, green /25, orange /1. Or with Timeless Treasures they could have signed different numbering on a different colored ball, brown or black

agreed! make 1/1s AT LEAST a unique photo...heck they should be a unique photo and design to make it stand out even to a non-collector's point of view. 1/1s should make other avid collectors drool that you hold one of these which dont look like the /200 of the same player that they have.

yes, slight differences of border colors and writing colors are fine distiction between /50s /25s and /10s but 1/1s should be a totally different unique look where in just one look you should be able to say "oh sh*#! look at that card...ive never seen that...must be a 1/1"
