Default This years rookies

What do you guys think about this years rookies compared to the past 2 or 3 years? Wall, Griffen, and Cousins seem to be playing great but is that all to come from this draft class?

Griffen is this year's rookie class, but not draft class

fields is good, but i still think toney douglas should be starting over him, the kid has so much potential, but the knicks seem to think otherwise

Whatever, that just means i can keep buying more and more of his cards dirt cheap until they trade him to somewhere where he'll be used. I just can't seem to figure out what they don't like about him

why would you start douglas at the 2 when he is a natural PG....a scoring PG though, who has all the goods offensively but will be a liability defending the 2.
Fields is a good complement to the current starters since theres not one prolific rebounder in this squad. most nights fields has more rebs than amare or turiaf. hes a smart player who doesnt waste many shots and can hit the 3ball once in a while.

landry fields is getting as many rebounds on any random night aas like dwight howard the kid will be on the rookie 1st team!

oh to answer your original question, i think 08/09 class is the best. you look at the top 5 (rose, beasley, mayo, westbrook, love) then it's no question right now (plus eric gordon AND brook lopez! jj hickson & javale mcgee too). 09/10 class (jennings, curry, tyreke) has produced lots of contributors... taj gibson comes to mind, james harden, jrue holiday, darren collison, ty lawson. those guys are doing better than expected after only one season. 10/11 class.. evan turner and derrick favors arent sure things, and wesley johnson is a surething to give 20 minutes a night off the bench 5 years from now. wall and cousins are good and i personally like gordon hayward. udoh and greg monroe hasnt even really played yet

Landry fields has been really good. He rebounds, scores, shoots a high percentage and guards the opponents best player. I think Toney is good but right now he is better off the bench.

I have like 50 Autos of Toney Douglas that I am looking to unload. Pm me if any of you are interested.

this year's rookies are underwhelmingly, to say the least. Wall is gonna be great, Griffen (from last year's class) is my pick to be the ROY, Cousins will be solid for years to come, and i have hopes that Derrick Favors shows something in a few years. other than that, nobody looks to be a future star to me. Bledsoe maybe, if Orton can go to another team, if Evan Turner finally figures things out, Ed Davis maybe, just no real sure fire guys.

i'm saving up for next year's guys already. lockout aside, if things go as normal then i'll be starting up the Kyrie Irving super-collection.
