The clippers would not be anywhere near close to the bottom in those conferences. The NBA is more exciting because every guy out there has skill where as in college not every team has 5 guys that can play.

I haven't seen many boxscores with only 4 players listed.

Listen, this arguement has been made before on these boards. College basketball is for those who like the game. The NBA is for those who like to follow the stars. The NCAA Tournament is a bigger event than the NBA Playoffs. When a guy can sit on a team's bench for years because he is hurt (ala Michael Williams or Terrel Brandon) and hampers that team from winning, something is wrong.

I don't mind the long baseball season because its cool to see who can hit the most homers. For some reason the NBA season bores me to death. Maybe they could have a yo mama so fat contest, and then go straight to the playoffs.

I also nominate the basketball subforum to be the DSOY, so I blocked it from the new posts, so I don't have to deal with headless chickens anymore

The Clippers would DOMINATE every single team in college basketball. Their opponents would be lucky to only lose by single digits, including Duke, Michigan State, Ohio State, Kansas, Kansas State... whoever. And I like the NCAA game. But NBA role players like Chris Kamen were almost solely responsible for carrying his mid-major school deep into the NCAA tournament. And that was when he was still raw and had less of an NBA body than he does now! You put the Clippers against Duke at Cameron Indoor, and the Clippers win by 20-25 with ease.

The worst NBA team would be ranked number 1 in college easily but its not like they would dominate. In my opinion, NCAA basketball is more entertaining to watch and attend a game especially during March Madness (greatest tournament in the U.S.). Some NBA games are fun to watch similarily to college, but too many playoff games. Seriously they need a 7 game series for each playoff matchup, too drawn out. Plus its more expensive to attend the game and I just never see the intensity like I do in college. I think the fans and the rivalries are deeper in college as well. And if the NBA season is shutout next season I will enjoy that. Will someone explain to me why they support an NBA team? A bunch of overpaid men playing a game and for the most part have no loyalty to the actual place they play in. What is the hardest working NBA team?

Why does anyone support any professional team? I support the Kings because they are my home town team. I will ALWAYS support my home town teams regardless of how bad they are.

When it comes to supporting teams outside of my area, I pick the ones who have nice players on their team. I love the Thunder because of Durant and Westbrook; Blazers cuz of Roy and Aldridge; and the Clippers just because Griffin is so much fun to watch and has a great personality.

No way! But its all just talk cause will never see it. I havent really seen the clippers but I know the Kings with the college refs playing duke would be close.

Home town team is a good answer. When the Kings were good it was nice for Sacramento to get national attention. But as soon as Durant leaves thunder and Roy stops playin for portland, its time for you to support other teams.
