My Black Friday haul! To bust or not to bust?

Haven't really opened any wax before, preferring to just buy singles, but couldn't help myself during Black Friday. In the frenzy, I managed to get some pretty good deals on a bunch of boxes:

1 2009/10 Panini Certified Materials (Hobby)

1 2010/11 Upper Deck Ultimate (Hobby)

3 2008/09 Press Pass (Retail)

And also got several boxes of football (Topps Chrome, Topps Jumbo, Contenders)

Haven't decided which ones to open and which ones to flip. Also curious about what everyone else managed to snag this weekend.

I'll probably bust the 3 Press Passes.
I think I might be able to get at least a $15-$20 profit on the Certified box (but I'm really tempted...)

Just not sure about the Ultimate. Definitely seems like a huge hit or miss!

I dont know how you cant just open them all...I mean unopened boxes to make a few bucks vs pulling a great card? You could be giving away an amazing card to make a few bucks.

I bought some boxes/cases from all sports last year. One of them was a case of 07 SP Legendary Cuts Baseball that I decided to sell. The person who bought it pulled the Lou Gehrig Cut Auto 1/1 and boy do I regret it... the 2003 version sold for nearly $9K

Andrew, did you know when I was selling that case for you me, my father, and brother were very close to buying that case from you?

That case sat under my kitchen table for like 2 or 3 weeks

Anyways, does anyone know what some of the better deals were this year?

What cases, boxes, etc...?

Alright! My boxes came in today!

Decided that I'll do a box a day. Would rather pace myself than going on a bust bender and risk card ODing

Looking forward to doing my first posts in the breaks forum
