i didnt watch the game or catch up on it til nmy way to work and they beat the #3 Pitt today..and after checkin it out seems like they had a 12pointlead at halftime..
so heres my question..might seem a reach but just had to ask.. last year after they went through that scandal and were without key members of the team for awhile and even lost possibly the best player for the year...they used thatto rally around and finished with a deep run into the NCAAs.. fast forward to this year..they lost a few players, were under the radar and ranked low in the initial rankings... enter the recruit scandal..now they are undefeated including a 10 point win at #10 Nova and tonights 7 point win over #3 Pitt... is it possible that Pearl knew what he was doing all along and was going to use this to rally his team like last year..or is that a little too far out there? |

Think that is a little far out there. He has a very good team, led by Scotty Hopson. They played a very good game today on both ends of the floor. Helped that Pitt forgot to show up for the first half and most of the second.

he didn't cheat he just broke a dumb rule but a rule none the less. and then he compounded his mistake by instructing his assistants to lie to the NCAA and lied himself. honestly it wouldn't be nearly as big of story if Pearl wasn't a huge stickler for the rules and like turning in others for breaking the rules and being dishonest. oh and of course hes a good jewish man that was being persecuted by hateful mobs just like jesus.
