Default NBA Trade Rumors

This is where we are going to post all of our trade rumors up until the trade deadline.

The Knicks are looking to move Anthony Randolph to the Rockets for the Knicks first round pick they traded to them last year. If this happens, the Knicks would supposibly send Eddy Curry, Danilo Gallinari, the 1st round pick with the Randolph trade, Landry Fields, and another player (either Walker, Chandler, Mozgov, Turiaf) to the Nuggets for Carmelo Anthony. Also if the Melo trade happens, the Knicks would send some players (depending on the Melo trade for OJ Mayo. The Knicks lose a ton of depth and really have no center. It they would go after a solid small name center.

Do you think that this would be a smart move?

PG-Felton
SG-Mayo
SF-Carmelo
PF-Stoudemire
C-Turiaf or Mozgov

Obviously there center is weak but the don't need another scorer so Id like to keep Turiaf who can defend and rebound. They would have to sign a bunch of FAs to minimum 1 year contracts and hope they play well and deal them towards the deadline.

This seems a little far fetched... I don't see it happening.

HA!...

Does it really matter anyway? The Knickerbockers are not getting past the Celtics any way you slice it. (The Magic and possibly the Heat either...)

And I would have to agree that this is far fetched...what is your source for these rumours? I only follow yahoo sources, and haven't seen these rumours yet..

That trade sounds rediculous for all teams involved.

On my blog I just put up the rumor that Michael Jordan is rumored to be traded for Babe Ruth and Otis Nixon. Go ahead and Google it.

Are you so naive that you believe everything on Google???

fwiw these rumors have been reported but they all are rumors and unlikely to happen. knicks are trying to move randolph but his value is really low. he is stuck with the label of tons of tools, bad body, limited bball iq, and a guy that will unlikely put it all together.

memphis should trade oj mayo for monta ellis, palinites!

the melo to knicks have some juice to it. and i hope it happens personally. i live in NY and wouldnt mind catching a game and watchin melo/amare/felton. however, that being said, to add mayo as well, that's an insane scoring group... not enough touches (and not enough defense). entertaining, no doubt, but a winner? nope. adding melo to NY would at least make them relevant and contend again for several years b/c right now it's hard to say whether the knicks recent victories is a sign of the team as a whole or just a stretch of good luck

They wouldnt need Mayo if they got Melo....all they would have to do is wait till CP3 becomes a free agent and pick him up and them you would have Amare/Melo/Cp3!!!!
