Did UD overproduce Exquisite this year?

Seems like Upper Deck made a ton of Exquisite cases this year. I've noticed that the case prices have been around $1500. Not only that but some of Chris' competitors have been selling them for around $500 a box. Which makes me wonder if there is more supply then we thought. Seem like in previous years box prices were higher because of the lower supply. PLUS they have Extended RC Redemptions now. Telling me that gives them an excuse to create more cases for 07-08

What do you all think?

I'm actually pondering if I'm to get a box or not.. Seems like it's too much of a hit or miss this year compared to others. But seeing the triple logoman of Jordan/Magic/Bird and Lebron/Wade/Carmelo already pulled.... I dunno -_- Anyone else thinking of buying a box/case?

This product is either a hitter or a huge miss. Compounded with not so great resale on basketball (certain players are exceptions of course).

But man, so far all the "hitters" that were seeing are something else... They have a LOT of crap thrown in there, at the same time I'm seeing more gems pop out, and at a more frequent rate.

The case I broke had KG/Al Jefferson Exqusite dual jersey auto 2/5. That was my hitter sold it for $425. Also got two rookie patches in one box. Rest was ok. Still have more to sell but looks like I will either break even or take very marginal loss on the case.

I just got my box of exquisite from the UPS man...i am waiting for my son to get home( he has a box of Press Pass basketball to open)...I will post if I get anything decent

ND3: I think, compared to other BKB products, this is the one you're most likely to break even in. I've seen some of the rookie auto patches sell at an unbelievable rate. (close to BV I'm imagining)
