Chris Paul, 100%. He makes the rest of team MUCH better, and can still take over scoring-wise for stretches when he has to.

I agree that Chris Paul is the best in the NBA, hands down. If we were to mention top 5's though, based on this year's performance, Russell Westbrook should be in the mix. And I passionately hate Westbrook's game. LOL. He's maturing though, making less turnovers and TERRIBLE shots, as well as passing a bit more.

Amazing to see DWill in these discussions. The guy has been VERY average since leaving Sloan's system.

Paul is def. on a tier of his own. I think there is a second tier with a bunch of guys such as rose, Westbrook, Parker, rondo, deron. There is then A third tier with like Nash kyrie coupke others. But I think a couple of those in the 2nd tier at times drop while some in the 3rd rise.

All these responses seem biased as hell! People want to know truth and fact, and not biased based on your favorite team. Plus, Rose is top but hasnt played in weeks!!! GTFOH!

( even though he is still coming back of injury prone season last year )

These two guys stand apart from the rest yes Rose can be the Clutch man Chicago needs and yes rondo can dish 20 dimes on a night but can they do it all ?
Just two years ago you didn't see any difference between the two of them. Nothing in their abilities has really changed though.

Just goes to show how quickly people fall for hype and don't properly evaluate talent.

This thread is over 2 years old. Everyone saying Deron shouldn't be ranked so high, thats the point of the bump of the thread. The majority of people thought Deron was the #1 PG in the NBA 2 years ago, and gave up on Chris Paul. Yet now they see how very wrong they were and backtrack.
