Question 3 Ud Boxes Which One To Get????

Hey guys,

I'm looking to purchase a couple of boxes and wanted to know which ones you guys would buy of these 3 considering which one would have the best resale value & overall favorite in your opinion.....

2008/09 Upper Deck Premier Basketball

2008/09 Upper Deck SP Authentic Basketball

or

2008/09 Upper Deck SP Rookie Threads

Thanks!

BK is pretty ruff, but if your looking long term I would think the SPA would hold the value its best. Rookie threads to be is nice, but at a higher price point and I've yet to really see any lettermen hold their value long term as they're been copied in all the sports right now. Premier is nice, but high risk in my opinion.

BKB resale is horrible............especially if you're busting less than a case. use your money to buy singles of rookies who you think will take off in a couple of months.

SPA all the way. Nice patches and on card autos makes it a no brainer to me.

My vote would be for SPA or nothing. Ideally multiple boxes to try and pull a jersey auto rookie (if your budget allowed for it).

I've already ordered some Premier myself as it looks great...although I can't wait to get SP Auth. too...

If you pull any Larry Johnson cards I'll help you make your money back right away and if they are real rare give you a profit! Good luck..

Ditto. I couldn't have said it any better.

I happen to like SP Threads, but it is a bit pricey but the hits I've gotten in Football this year have been really nice.. I may buy a box of this and see how I do... Maybe get a cool O.J. Mayo Letter. That would be nice.

I think it depends if you're busting them or holding them.

Also, I don't understand why an SPA auto would hold it's value better than an auto or auto/patch of the either two. It sounds like people are just picking the cheaper box. Is that the case or is there some other reason?

Percentage-wise, is my Durant SPA auto/399 going down less than a Durant Premier auto/xx? I don't think so, but there seems to be a consensus for SPA here that thinks otherwise. If someone could explain I'd appreciate it.
